00:16 We were told recently that business since Dan Walker's announcement to
00:21 having purchased the estate in Brook Coffee Rooms has been insane. Very, very
00:26 busy and it was busy when I turned up this afternoon. It is a lovely little
00:33 cafe, little coffee room with a brilliant ambience and very friendly clientele. I
00:37 was chatting away with some locals for a good 40 minutes I'd say while I was
00:43 there, just enjoying the atmosphere, enjoying the space. I ordered a flat white,
00:49 it's my go-to coffee in the afternoon, but also bought the bodega sandwich. Now
00:54 if you saw Dan Walker's announcement that he'd invested in Brook on social
00:58 media, you would have seen a picture of the bodega. It was the brioche bun with
01:03 a fried egg, bacon and some cheese. One thing I didn't know until I was in
01:08 Brook today is that there's also a layer of chilli jam on the bottom. I tried that
01:11 and when I tell you it was delicious, it was absolutely delicious. Had to eat it
01:17 with a knife and fork because it just was not possible with that yolk on the
01:21 egg to stuff it in your face like a Mackey's muffin, but it was absolutely
01:26 delicious. If you haven't given Brook Coffee Rooms a go, I highly recommend it.
