00:32 she just kind of went into tears.
00:34 - 25 year old Garrison sharing about his new pet
00:37 just days before his tragic death.
00:39 Police telling ET on Tuesday,
00:41 the reality star was found dead in his Arizona home,
00:44 where it's presumed he died by suicide
00:47 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
00:49 - My children really are my thing, right?
00:51 I'm really wrapped up with them.
00:53 I'm focused on them.
00:54 - Mourning the loss of their son,
00:56 Janelle and Cody released a joint statement on Instagram.
00:59 Quote, "We are deeply saddened to announce the loss
01:02 "of our beautiful boy.
01:03 "He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him."
01:07 - I have worried about my boy's mental health
01:09 and Garrison just seems angry or sad or,
01:14 like he's not as happy-go-lucky as he used to be.
01:18 - His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives
01:21 that it takes our breath away.
01:23 - Mary, Janelle's former sister wife, also paid tribute,
01:26 writing, "You are loved and will be missed."
01:29 - We were in the trenches when we were raising kids together
01:32 and you just sort of relied on each other.
01:34 - Garrison's appeared on "Sister Wives"
01:36 since its debut in 2010.
01:38 TLC sharing in a statement to ET,
01:41 we extend our deepest sympathies to the Brown family
01:44 at this difficult time.
01:46 - I think the experience
01:48 is a very deep emotional challenge.
01:50 I'm a flawed individual and it's not fun to see that.
01:53 - I haven't been in touch with Gabriel and Garrison
01:55 for quite a while.
01:56 I'm pretty sad that I'm not close to him anymore.
01:58 There was just so many things in our lives that we did
02:01 that were rich together, you know, just special experiences.
02:04 - In recent years, Cody's become distant
02:06 from several of his children, including Garrison.
02:09 Their fractured relationship playing out
02:11 on the show's latest season.
02:14 - We're all grown adults
02:15 that don't need a father figure anymore.
02:18 - I would like to say that I didn't care,
02:20 but it still hurts.
02:22 - We don't need dad anymore.
02:24 - How are things with the kids
02:25 and their seemingly crumbled relationship with their father?
02:29 - Some are still hopeful that they'll have a better one.
02:32 I think he does want to have a good relationship
02:35 with his kids and I think that, I'm hoping it will happen.
02:39 - I think that's probably the goal,
02:40 but he will eventually figure out
02:42 how to have a relationship with his children.
02:44 I mean, I hope so.
02:45 - Yeah, I hope it will over time, hopefully.
02:47 But for right now, it's still a little fractured.
