00:00 Good morning from the Pag-asa Weather Forecasting Center.
00:03 This is our update on the weather for the next 24 hours.
00:09 We will continue to experience the effects of the Northeast Monsoon,
00:12 the cold wind that is blowing here in the areas of Northern and Central Luzon.
00:18 Easterlies, or the hot wind from the Pacific Ocean,
00:21 is the weather system that is blowing in the 11 parts of our country.
00:25 And because of the cold, we will experience a low rain in the eastern section of Luzon.
00:34 Meanwhile, the Easterlies will also bring a lot of rain,
00:38 with a lot of snow and hail in the eastern part of Visayas and Mindanao.
00:45 The 11 parts of our country, including Metro Manila,
00:48 are expected to have fair weather conditions.
00:51 At the moment, we are not monitoring any low-pressure areas
00:55 or any areas outside of our Philippine Area of Responsibility
00:59 that could be affected by the storm that could affect our country in the coming days.
01:05 And for the weather conditions here in Luzon,
01:09 because of the cold, we will experience heavy rain and high chances of light rains
01:16 in some areas of Luzon,
01:18 particularly in the areas of Cagayan Valley, in the Cordillera region,
01:24 and also in the provinces of Aurora and Quezon.
01:29 In the 11 parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila,
01:34 we are expecting fair weather conditions,
01:36 and we are expecting clear skies.
01:38 We are still expecting chances of light rain in the Amihan Valley,
01:43 in the areas of Ilocos Region,
01:45 the rest of Central Luzon, Metro Manila, and the rest of Calabar Zone.
01:50 In the regions of Mimaropa and Cabiculan,
01:53 we are expecting isolated rain showers or localized thunderstorms.
01:58 These storms usually form in the afternoon,
02:02 and they decrease in the afternoon until nightfall due to thunderstorms.
02:08 In the parts of Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao,
02:13 because of the Easter leaves or the wind from the Pacific Ocean,
02:17 we will experience high chances of rain,
02:20 which includes lightning and thunder in the areas of Eastern Samar, Leyte, Southern Leyte,
02:28 and also in the whole region of the Caraga area.
02:31 So, if you can sleep, be ready and alert to the chances of flooding or landslides
02:37 if we experience continuous rain.
02:40 In the lower parts of Visayas, Palawan, and the rest of Mindanao,
02:45 we are expecting high weather conditions, hot and rainy weather.
02:49 We will still bring rain cover because it is still possible for localized thunderstorms to occur,
02:55 usually in the afternoon until nightfall.
02:58 In the area of our ocean, there are no high yield warnings for the type of flood we will experience.
03:04 But the precautions of our fellow fishermen, especially in the coastal areas of Northern Luzon,
03:11 are different because it is still possible for us to experience a high level of flooding until the sea level rises.
03:17 And for our three-day weather outlook in the neighboring cities of our country,
03:23 here in Luzon, especially in the area of Southern Luzon, in the Bicol region,
03:28 especially in the city of Legazpi City, because of Easter, from tomorrow, Sunday, and Monday,
03:35 we will experience high chances of heavy rains, landslides, and landslides.
03:40 Improving weather conditions, we are expecting that by Tuesday,
03:44 we will still have isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, usually in the afternoon until nightfall.
03:50 In other areas of Luzon, especially in Northern and Central Luzon,
03:54 in the areas of Metro Manila and Baguio City, we are still expecting a high level of flooding until tomorrow.
04:02 And it will continue until Monday, where this flood will weaken by Tuesday.
04:09 So by Tuesday, a large part of Luzon will experience a hotter and drier weather,
04:16 with a high chance of rain showers and landslides, usually in the afternoon until nightfall.
04:30 In the Bicol region, in the areas of Metro Cebu, Iloilo City, and Tacloban City,
04:35 we are expecting improving weather conditions in a large part of the Eastern Bicol region,
04:40 starting tomorrow, Sunday, and it will continue until the next three days.
04:45 This includes a large part of Visayas.
04:48 Fair weather conditions, we are expecting in the entire Visayas for the next three days.
04:52 We still have a chance of isolated rain showers or localized thunderstorms, usually in the afternoon until nightfall.
04:59 In the areas of Manamindanao, in the cities of Metro Davao, Cagayan de Oro City, and Zamboanga City,
05:05 we are expecting a clear sky for the next three days.
05:09 We will also experience a high chance of rain showers, especially in the eastern section of Mindanao,
05:17 which is still covered by the Easter Leaves.
05:19 These rain showers are just a temporary result of localized thunderstorms.
05:24 The sunny weather here in the Philippines will be as hot as 608 degrees in the morning,
05:30 and will be as low as 606 degrees in the afternoon.
