00:00 We first got involved in Surf Life Saving in 2018.
00:06 It literally started from driving past the Penguin Surf Club.
00:09 My daughter was in the car, she wondered what was going on.
00:14 We dropped back on the following weekend, my daughter came down and they just welcomed
00:18 her and said come and try.
00:20 That progressed, my son then got involved as well.
00:24 From there, progressed through to getting my bronze medal down in.
00:29 Then started to help out a little bit with coaching.
00:31 Then started using my own background in sprinting when I was a lot younger.
00:37 Had ideas of what we could do to get kids involved on the beach.
00:40 Last year we just had, we just finished, it's been our best year yet.
00:45 From a participation point of view and results point of view as well.
00:54 Penguin it's family.
