00:00 OK, let's start this off.
00:02 Dominic.
00:05 Evening, Eddie.
00:06 Just what's your overall assessment of the match tonight and where did things go wrong for you?
00:10 I think things went wrong with the goals we conceded, for sure.
00:14 You know, we're really disappointed with them because,
00:18 just look at the first goal, we started the game really well.
00:22 We had Chelsea penned in, the first attack they have,
00:24 we almost gifted them the goal.
00:26 And the three goals that I conceded today,
00:30 I think we were as poor as we have conceded for a while.
00:33 And you can't come away from home and play well,
00:36 because we did.
00:36 We conceded those goals and didn't expect to get anything from the game.
00:40 And, you know, it really cost us the match.
00:43 Big goal in the first half with Anthony Gordon going off, how's he doing?
00:46 Yeah, we're not sure what the diagnosis is with Anthony.
00:51 He's got a knee problem.
00:51 He said it was a pain that he just felt come on.
00:56 There was no moment or incident that it happened.
01:01 So, it's just gradual, but he's in a bit of pain.
01:05 So, we fear it's not looking too good, but it's very early days.
01:08 So, let's see.
01:08 There was obviously a huge moment in the game to lose him as well,
01:12 because he's been so good for us this year,
01:14 so consistent with his performances.
01:15 And that's another psychological blow for the players.
01:18 Okay, Lee Ryder, then Chris Watt.
01:23 What's the sort of message to... Do you have to change your message to the players after this,
01:28 or do they have to stick to what you've been telling them for the last two years?
01:32 No, I don't think that my message to the players
01:41 necessarily has to change, because
01:45 I think that would mean a change of principles or method of work.
01:52 No, I don't think there's anything wrong with our method today.
01:53 I mean, you could see that I thought there was a lot of good in the performance.
01:56 I thought we played some really good football at times,
01:58 got in some really good crossing areas,
02:00 showed attacking intent, showed bravery.
02:03 There was a lot of good, and that can't be lost.
02:07 It was a strange game, because it was a game of few chances,
02:09 but it ended up being five goals.
02:11 So, confusing, really, in the fact that we were inconsistent,
02:16 even within today's performance.
02:17 We've been inconsistent within this run of games that we've had lately,
02:20 but this was an inconsistent performance because a lot of good, some bad,
02:24 and we've ended up losing the game.
02:25 Well, in the Premier League, we have to keep going
02:41 and we have to commit to every game and give our best
02:43 to try and win every single match, and that's what we'll do.
02:46 Our priority now is the FA Cup.
02:48 That's going to be a big challenge for us,
02:50 but we have to forget the Premier League for a while and
02:52 commit to this game we have on the horizon.
02:54 And then we have a break, and once we come back from the break,
02:58 we have to give the Premier League everything.
02:59 Thanks, Lee. Chris?
03:01 Yes, of course, I'll have my thoughts on that.
03:13 And I think there's no doubt in the ability of the players we have.
03:18 And you can see today we've got some very good players,
03:21 highlighted really by the two goals we scored.
03:24 And some of our general players, especially in the first half,
03:26 I thought was very, very good.
03:27 I thought we looked in a really good rhythm and we looked confident.
03:30 We sort of killed ourselves tonight with the goals conceded
03:34 and have already touched on it.
03:35 And that, in a sense, can dent confidence and can harm you
03:39 when you're conceding goals in the manner that we did today.
03:42 You mentioned the goals conceded.
03:43 I mean, you've got the joint-best-of-fours conceded on the road this season.
03:46 How frustrating is that? How can you sort that out?
03:48 Yes, well, that's a total reversal from last year,
03:53 where we had the joint-best defensive record in the league
03:55 and we were so resilient.
03:57 We had a feeling that we weren't going to concede.
04:00 I think that now has changed to a feeling that we might concede.
04:03 And the only way to remedy that is to work,
04:08 is for the team collective to be the same aim.
04:12 And I think it is.
04:14 I think we've got some great professionals in that area of the team
04:16 and are backers to come good,
04:17 but we're obviously going through a difficult period.
04:19 Thanks, Chris.
04:20 South Africa?
04:20 Yes, you mentioned something else.
04:22 The group of opponents working at home,
04:24 you really highlighted it, they really were.
04:25 What did you make of this opponent and also how would you comment?
04:29 Yes, so far this season?
04:30 Yes, very good performance from Tino Tonnato.
04:32 I thought he was a really attacking threat in that first half.
04:35 I thought he gave us some really good moments,
04:37 in combination with Migi and Sean on that side of the pitch.
04:40 Maybe a little bit quiet at the beginning of the second half,
04:42 so he moved in sides and I thought he came to life again on the left.
04:45 So, showed his versatility, showed his athleticism through the match
04:48 and he can be pleased.
04:49 And this season so far, if you look at the small team,
04:53 his development?
04:54 Yes, I think he's felt at home and I think he's growing into his position.
04:59 He's certainly got the love of the supporters,
05:01 which is a huge thing at this football club.
05:03 I think they see what he brings to the team.
05:05 So, I think he's had a really good start.
05:07 Okay, we've got Neil then, Mike and Craig.
05:09 The front went wrong defensively on the goals.
05:11 Was it the same thing each goal or was it something different?
05:13 No, I think it's something different for each goal
05:17 and I'm not going to go into detail about the mistakes we made
05:20 and who made them.
05:21 That's not for me to do and I've never acted that way.
05:24 It's always a collective thing,
05:26 but we did make some individual errors today,
05:29 which is harmless.
05:31 Okay, Mike.
05:33 Have you got to school with Dan Byrne, please?
05:34 Has he hurt?
05:37 I don't think so.
05:37 I don't know.
05:37 I haven't spoken to Dan personally.
05:38 I've come straight here.
05:39 So, no, I hope he's okay.
05:41 Okay, just finish with Craig.
05:43 Nelly, how is Anthony in himself?
05:44 It was obviously a big night for him,
05:46 he's gone to Southgate, was here.
05:47 How is he in himself?
05:49 Physically as well, he looked in a lot of pain when he was getting treatment.
05:51 Yes, I think he's in a bit of pain.
05:54 I think it's unclear what the injury is
05:56 and I think that can always add a more negative feeling
05:59 because you want clarity on what you're feeling.
06:01 Hopefully, we can give him that in the next couple of days
06:03 and we can get him seen to.
06:04 Of course, he'll be disappointed to go off,
06:06 especially in front of Gareth.
06:07 Okay, thanks everyone.
06:09 Thank you.
06:09 - Thank you.
