00:00 >> You came to Washington to finish up your college career.
00:04 With what you had in mind, did it work out?
00:06 I know the record could have been better and season's not over yet, but
00:09 has it worked out the way you thought?
00:12 >> I mean, yeah, everyone obviously comes to a new place and you're hoping to
00:17 get a large bid to the attorney and you want a great record and stuff.
00:21 But it's not over, I think we still have,
00:26 we can make a run at any time and I think we can start now.
00:31 And I don't know if I can necessarily answer if it's the way I want it to go,
00:36 but it's just like whatever happens happens, you just gotta live with it, so.
00:42 >> Well, Keon, I just was talking to him and
00:44 he said this was perfect for him to kind of expand his game.
00:47 And just it's a better situation for him,
00:53 a platform for people to just see who he is.
00:56 I think the same has probably happened for you too,
00:57 even though you've been pretty good at the other spot, the other teams.
01:01 >> Yeah, I mean, yeah, different type of styles fit people differently.
01:07 And I think for the most part, I fit pretty well and
01:11 I'm super grateful to the coaching staff for bringing me in here.
01:15 And I thought that I, for the most part, I showed what I'm capable of.
01:21 Obviously, I think I could have done better as well, but things happen.
01:25 And I didn't choose well as I wanted to maybe, but yeah,
01:31 I think everyone fits differently and can do better in different situations.
01:37 >> And the last thing, with your dad being an NBA player,
01:41 what kind of impact has that had on you to be a basketball player?
01:45 >> A lot, a lot, yeah, he's always texting me every day,
01:49 just talking about the games and practice.
01:51 And I'm super grateful for him cuz he's been kinda like a great mentor to me and
01:56 just leading me through the way through high school and college.
02:00 And just kinda telling me how it is, especially for
02:03 going professional hopefully next year.
02:05 He's kinda just filling me in on what that's gonna be like.
02:09 So it's been great to have my dad in my corner for sure.
