00:00 Three storeys in brief and a 27 storey block of flats could bring hundreds of new homes
00:07 to the city if a planning application is approved. Initial plans for the development just outside
00:12 Leeds City Centre in Holbeck could see 387 flats being built, along with a gym, creche,
00:19 co-working space and a car park.
00:21 Next, Bramley builder David Dixon, who was caught on camera dumping and illegally storing
00:26 construction waste, has been fined and given a suspended prison sentence. The council will
00:31 shortly be launching the Leeds Accredited Waste Carrier Scheme, which will help residents
00:36 find legal and responsible waste carriers to dispose of rubbish.
00:40 And finally, the St Patrick's Day Parade and festivities are set to return to Millennium
00:44 Square this Sunday 17th March. Floats, displays and music will return for the event, which
00:50 is marking its 25th anniversary.
