00:45 like the infrastructure that the Filipinos will benefit from.

00:50 We have agreed to collaborate and cooperate

00:54 around a few specific areas.

00:57 Supply chain resiliency, infrastructure,

01:01 and clean economy, decarbonization.

01:03 Philippines already has 13 semiconductor

01:14 assembly, testing, and packaging facilities.

01:19 Like it's a moment now of growth.

01:22 Microsoft is part of the US presidential trade and investment mission

01:27 that promises to connect those who still have no access to the internet,

01:32 particularly in hospitals and schools in the most remote areas of the country.

01:37 And that will focus on the Philippines themselves,

01:39 working with local ISPs and partners

01:42 to bring an additional 1 million people in the Philippines

01:45 online within the next two years.

01:48 Microsoft also plans to teach the Filipinos

01:51 the responsible use of artificial intelligence and fluency

01:56 in cybersecurity,

01:57 skills that are needed in the in-demand jobs today.

02:01 We are announcing working through two government agencies,

02:05 TESDA and the Department of Labor and Employment,

02:08 to focus on bringing 100,000 more learners

02:13 with skills in AI fluency and cybersecurity.

02:17 After the Secretary of Commerce,

02:19 the Secretary of State of America, Anthony Blinke,

02:22 will be going to the Philippines next week.
