01:31 But aside from the good and joyful performance of the OFWs,
01:34 the Executive Office gave a big role and tribute to them
01:38 in strengthening the country's economy because of their remittances.
01:43 In 2023, the Central Bank reported
01:48 that the remittances sent by the Filipinos from abroad
01:52 reached a record unprecedented high.
01:57 It's very high.
01:59 It reached $33.5 billion.
02:03 It's a very big part of our economy.
02:12 And just like what I said earlier,
02:17 your efforts are not only for your family,
02:22 for yourself and your communities,
02:24 but you will also help the country.
02:29 Along with the President's commitment to the government's efforts
02:34 to ensure the well-being of Filipino migrant workers,
02:38 the OFWs will also contribute to the development of programs
02:42 and strengthen the relationship between the Philippines and other countries like Germany
