00:00 "Elliot, Elliot I want to. I want to but I can't."
00:06 Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the TV characters who took
00:11 what felt like forever to finally kiss on screen.
00:14 "What are you doing?"
00:15 "Will you just stand still?"
00:17 Number 30. Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler. The Big Bang Theory.
00:25 Although she wasn't introduced until the long-running sitcom's third season,
00:30 Mayim Bialik's neuroscientist was a perfect match for Sheldon Cooper.
00:34 "I'm being blackmailed with a hidden dirty sock."
00:37 "If that was slang, I'm unfamiliar with it.
00:40 If it was literal, I share your aversion to soiled hosiery."
00:44 While she planted a smooch on him while under the influence in season four,
00:50 it wasn't reciprocated, and May have even further delayed their very real connection.
00:56 It wouldn't be until season seven that the fireworks really went off between Amy and Sheldon.
01:01 Their first kiss came in the middle of a classic Sheldon tantrum.
01:05 "Now let's gaze into each other's eyes. You blinked, I win. Let's see what's next.
01:10 Oh, kissing's romantic."
01:11 Then, of course, it became the real thing. It's the kind of first kiss
01:19 only Sheldon Cooper could manage. It was a sarcastic joke until it became reality.
01:25 "That was nice.
01:26 Good."
01:29 Number 29. Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak - Arrow
01:33 This CW superhero series follows Oliver Queen, a billionaire-turned-vigilante who begins fighting
01:40 crime and corruption in Starland City. Early in the series, he meets and works closely with
01:46 IT expert Felicity Smoak. "I was at my coffee shop surfing the web and I spilt a latte on it."
01:53 "Really?" "Yeah."
01:54 "Because these look like bullet holes." "My coffee shop isn't a bad neighborhood."
01:59 Fans waited eagerly as the two flirted shamelessly for two seasons.
02:03 Then, in the third season premiere, they finally got their wish. The two went on their first date,
02:09 only for Oliver to realize he can't be a superhero and the man she deserves.
02:14 "Stop dangling maybes. Say it's never going to work out between us. Say you never loved me."
02:23 Their first kiss feels like a painful goodbye. Luckily, fans wouldn't have to wait too long
02:29 for them to come to their senses. "I couldn't be the Arrow and be with you.
02:33 I want to be with you."
02:36 Number 28. Janine Teagues and Gregory Eddy - Abbott Elementary
02:41 It was clear from the pilot episode that Mrs. Teagues and Mr. Eddy were a perfect match.
02:47 But like any "Will They or Won't They" TV relationship,
02:50 they had a few hurdles to clear first.
02:53 "I was gonna wait for my boyfriend to finish his show to eat, but no. I'm hungry now,
03:02 so I should eat now."
03:04 Season two of the runaway hit sitcom constantly teased us with their inevitable pairing.
03:10 After all the false starts and fleeting looks, the two finally had their first kiss at a teacher's
03:15 conference. It all went down in the middle of a classroom full of flowers. When the chemistry is
03:20 explosive from the start, even two and a half seasons can feel like a lifetime of waiting.
03:25 "We got caught up in the moment."
03:27 "That's what she said about it? Just two friends getting caught up in the moment?"
03:30 Number 27. Amy Sosa and Jonah Sims - Superstore
03:35 The employees of big box store Cloud 9 had a lot to contend with. Shoplifters and corporate
03:41 shenanigans are crazy enough. Workplace romance is another thing entirely.
03:46 "The thing about this structure is it's really solid, you know? It's very strong,
03:51 it's very sturdy, it's..."
03:53 "It's very sexy."
03:55 Sales associate Jonah Sims was down bad for supervisor Amy Sosa from the start.
04:02 It wasn't until a tornado trapped them in the store that they were forced to reveal their
04:07 feelings for each other. Because nothing says romance like flying debris and falling ceiling.
04:13 Of course, they try to play it off as no big deal. But if this list proves anything,
04:18 it's that two characters kissing on a TV show is like opening Pandora's box.
04:22 "That was an accident."
04:23 "We didn't mean to do that."
04:25 "Yeah, you were going in."
04:26 "I... Guys! Something just happened!"
04:29 Number 26. Jake Peralta and Amy Santiago. Brooklyn 99.
04:35 Jake Peralta and Amy Santiago's first kiss was a spur of the moment decision,
04:40 but they were undercover so it didn't really count, right?
04:43 "NYPD's free! We are police colleagues!"
04:46 "You're under arrest! This is a work event!"
04:49 Well, they cleared up the confusion in the filing room later in the episode,
04:52 and it was enough to make fans' hearts start pounding. While it was an intense and dramatic
04:58 scene for such a hilarious show, it was another story behind the scenes. Andy Samberg and Melissa
05:04 Fumero were living up to the show's madcap goofiness off-camera. Apparently, to make
05:09 their kisses less awkward, the two actors ate food that would give them bad breath.
05:14 "You're gonna go to the Polish place and get pierogies,
05:15 potato pancakes, and a cup of hot chocolate."
05:17 "That's exactly what I'm gonna get."
05:19 "Yeah. I will be having pizza, two slices of meat supreme from Tony, served display temperature."
05:26 Number 25. Jim Halpert and Pam Beasley. The Office.
05:31 From the moment Jim told us he knew Pam's favorite flavor of yogurt, it was over.
05:36 "Jim said mixed berries? Oh, wow. Yeah, he's on to me."
05:42 With their matching senses of humor and longing glances at each other over their computers,
05:47 their budding love story was so cute it was almost annoying. It got to the point that
05:52 every romantic partner they had outside of the relationship just made us angry.
05:56 Then we got to season two. 21 episodes after what happened at the Dundees,
06:01 and with the documentary cameras peeking through the office blinds,
06:04 Jim finally worked up the nerve to kiss Pam. We smiled, and then we breathed a huge sigh
06:10 of relief because waiting for that one almost killed us.
06:12 "I'm in love with you."
06:14 "What?"
06:18 "I'm really sorry if that's weird for you to hear, but I needed you to…"
06:21 Number 24. Joyce Byers and Jim Hopper. Stranger Things.
06:27 When we first met Joyce, she was not doing well. She was frantically searching for her missing son
06:33 Will, and forcing the exhausted and weary police chief Jim Hopper to take her seriously. But over
06:40 four seasons, monster invasions, and being held captive by the Russians, the two grew very,
06:46 very close. It was a very long time coming.
06:49 "I've been on a diet of water, soup, moldy bread, and maggots,
06:53 so yeah, I've been dreaming about breadsticks and lasagna, I'm assuming.
06:57 So I've been dreaming about something else?"
07:02 "You tell me."
07:04 Scored with the show's usual 80s-inspired synthesizer, it's a magical and surprisingly
07:10 passionate kiss. It was a great moment because both of them had grown so much in that time,
07:15 together and apart, and were much better than when we first met them.
07:19 "Then, after that?"
07:21 "I don't know."
07:24 "Use your imagination."
07:28 Number 23. Buffy Summers and Spike. Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
07:35 Couples and relationships can be a hot topic among fans. That's especially true for Buffy
07:40 the Vampire Slayer. Buffy fans can probably be divided into camps based on which vampire they
07:46 wanted Buffy Summers to end up with. "The day you suss out what you do want,
07:50 there'll probably be a parade. 76 bloody trombones."
07:54 Angel was her first love on the show, but the leather-clad, peroxide-ed vampire Spike
07:59 entered the race halfway through the series' run. They technically locked lips in season five,
08:04 but no, the Buffy bot doesn't count. It wasn't until season six's classic musical episode
08:11 that the two finally had their first real kiss. Their embrace closed out the show,
08:16 leaving viewers dazed by the entire episode and foaming at the mouth to see how things
08:21 would pick up the next week. "Where do we go from here?"
08:33 "To the end."
08:35 Number 22. Michonne and Rick Grimes - The Walking Dead
08:39 You'd think a band of survivors trying to outrun a horde of walkers wouldn't have much time for
08:44 romance. But then, you wouldn't have much of a show if they didn't. "You wanna tell me about
08:49 your day?" "No. Same thing." "Well, you found a guy?" Fans of the comics knew Michonne was coming,
08:59 but they didn't necessarily know her introduction would result in a pairing with the show's
09:03 protagonist, Rick Grimes. However, fans didn't get to see them act on their attraction for three
09:08 seasons. In an uncharacteristically warm episode, the two begin to kiss while sitting on the sofa
09:14 after sharing the adventures of an average day in a post-apocalyptic landscape. "Oh, so you had a day?"
09:21 "Yeah. All on account of your dental hygiene."
09:27 Number 21. Gil Grissom and Sarah Seidel - CSI Crime Scene Investigation
09:34 Few had it quite as hard as the CSI fandom. Having kept their relationship hidden from
09:38 their colleagues, Crime Scene Investigators' Gil Grissom and Sarah Seidel's first on-screen kiss
09:44 was probably one of the most gut-wrenching ever. "That just makes this worse. I can't
09:49 talk about this right now. I can't." Sarah, having lost her passion and drive for the job,
09:55 kisses her now-fiancé Grissom goodbye and departs the crime lab. The two would eventually marry,
10:00 break up, and get back together. But most of their romantic relationship would be played
10:05 off-screen after actors William Peterson and Georgia Fox's roles as part of the cast changed.
10:12 Their return in the 2021 follow-up series was a welcome look into their dynamic as a married couple.
10:17 "You weren't really that worried about the ring."
10:21 "It, um, it just felt like a battle."
10:25 Number 20. Maddie Hayes and David Addison - Moonlighting
10:30 Look, we're not saying the Blue Moon Detective Agency invented the long-simmering workplace
10:34 romance, but Maddie Hayes and David Addison probably perfected the trope. "You know,
10:39 that's what I like about this place. You learn something new every day." "But you get serious."
10:43 "Maddie, I just have my hand on your behind. If I get any more serious,
10:46 they're gonna move us to cable." Inspired by screwball comedies and murder mysteries,
10:50 the show cast Bruce Willis and Sybil Shepard, proving opposites really do attract, the dramedy
10:56 constantly teased us with fantasy kisses throughout its episodes. However, when the
11:01 constantly bickering pair gave in to their feelings in season two, it was a painful case
11:06 that finally gave viewers what they wanted. It was a thrilling and sad moment between the two.
11:11 "You tell me, what was that?" "What do you mean, you tell me? It wasn't me, it was you."
11:16 "I didn't do it, you did it." "I did not do it."
11:18 "Well, I did not do it." "Well, if you did not do it, I did not do it.
11:23 I guess it didn't happen."
11:24 Number 19. Joey Potter and Pacey Witter. Dawson's Creek. Though technically they share a brief peck
11:32 early on in season one, these two wouldn't discover their true feelings for each other
11:37 until the third season. "The hostility, the way they're wary with each other, not to mention
11:42 the constant bickering and name-calling. Now these two clearly are in the early stages of
11:48 some screwball mating ritual." "What?"
11:51 These two start out as enemies, with Dawson really being the only thing connecting them.
11:56 But over time, they become confidants, then friends, and then something more. Without even
12:02 realizing it, they become each other's soulmates. And in a moment where Pacey can't hold his
12:07 feelings in anymore, he kisses Joey, changing their relationship forever.
12:11 "Jemma, get tired of talking." "No, I don't get tired of talking."
12:15 "I don't want to talk anymore." "What are you trying to say?"
12:17 "Joey, Pacey, why are we standing? I don't-" "There's comfort."
12:21 It might have only taken most of the way through season three for these two to finally lock lips,
12:26 but if you watched this relationship build through seasons two and three, it felt like a lifetime.
12:31 Number 18. Jesté and Nick Miller, New Girl. Similar to Joey and Pacey, if we're talking
12:38 straight episode count, this one doesn't take too long at all to manifest. We got this first
12:44 kiss halfway through the second season. But also, like Joey and Pacey, the tension between these
12:49 two was so palpable that it felt like forever for this to finally happen. The chemistry between them
13:01 was so intense, in fact, that Jake Johnson and Zooey Deschanel were told not to touch during
13:07 filming. Cece saw it from the very beginning. She tries to hook up Nick and Jesté very early on,
13:24 but the show made us wait in anticipation. Number 17. Kate Beckett and Richard Castle.
13:30 Castle. No matter how much animosity Beckett has for Castle in the beginning,
13:35 these two have an obvious chemistry. Castle is always out to win Beckett's heart, but in season
13:41 one, Beckett is all business. She's not at all responsive to his romantic attempts,
13:58 and even tries to have Castle removed as her partner. But in season two, their relationship
14:04 begins to soften, and we could see mutual feelings begin to blossom. Then, finally in season three,
14:10 Castle and Beckett finally share their first kiss. It may have just been part of a plan to help their
14:20 friends, but let's be honest, we all knew it was something more. Number 16. Leo Fitz and Gemma
14:27 Simmons. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. These two literally traveled through space and time losing each other
14:34 and finding each other again and again. They obviously had chemistry from the very beginning.
14:40 They'd been partners ever since the Academy, but as the show went on, it became more and more clear
14:57 that there was something deeper between them than friendship. We watched as their feelings blossomed
15:02 through insurmountable obstacles. They defeated deadly viruses, battled inhumans, and even
15:08 survived at the bottom of the ocean all together. Their first kiss came in a moment of desperation,
15:14 where they just couldn't hold in their feelings anymore.
15:17 Number 15. Ziva David and Tony DiNozzo. NCIS. This one was a long, slow burn. These two don't even
15:37 meet until season three, when Ziva first joins the team. It takes them until season 11 to finally
15:43 lock lips for real, but their first mission together involves them pretending to be a married
15:47 couple. Even the actors knew right from then that their characters were in a love story,
16:05 and the fans were right there with them. We all waited eight seasons for them to finally come
16:10 together, and it was a goodbye kiss. It took another long wait to see them reunited.
16:22 Number 14. Dwayne Wayne and Whitley Gilbert. A Different World. Towards the beginning of A
16:28 Different World, the idea of romance isn't really on Dwayne or Whitley's mind, but it certainly was
16:34 on the audience's. As the show went on, the chemistry between the two was undeniable.
16:39 Well, it certainly is good to see a familiar face. Although you don't look all that familiar.
16:46 Oh, my suit. Well, that was in Toronto on business. Dwayne might not have been the type
16:51 of guy Whitley would usually go for. He didn't have the rich guy look. He wasn't on the finance
16:56 or business track, but he was the only guy who cared to get to know her, and that's what really
17:00 matters. Plus, both of these characters dated and loved other people before coming together.
17:16 They knew themselves and knew what they wanted, which made them perfect for each other,
17:20 and made this kiss worth the wait.
17:28 Number 13. Damon Salvatore and Elena Gilbert. The Vampire Diaries.
17:33 As soon as Elena quite literally ran into Damon in the second episode of the series,
17:41 Vampire Diaries fans were hooked. Their love triangle with Stefan dragged on,
17:46 and while there were small nuggets here and there, such as Elena chastely pecking Damon as he lay
17:52 dying, the two didn't officially kiss until season three. At the time, Damon and Elena were working
17:57 to get Stefan back from Klaus, and Stefan and Elena were still together. Though Damon still
18:10 considered Elena his brother's girl, he kissed her, knowing she would go back to Stefan in the end.
18:17 It still took another season for these two to get together, but we appreciated this kiss in
18:25 the meantime. Number 12. Lucifer Morningstar and Chloe Decker. Lucifer. These two start off with
18:32 that classic opposites attract, buddy cop type of relationship. Chloe is pretty straight-laced and
18:38 by the book, and Lucifer is, well, Lucifer. Similar to Castle and Beckett's relationship,
18:54 Lucifer clearly likes Chloe from early on, but Chloe remains skeptical of his intentions.
18:59 Though he's straight up with her about who he really is, Chloe naturally doesn't believe him.
19:04 But slowly, their trust grows, and they become real partners and true friends. Eventually,
19:10 just when Lucifer is ready to give up hope that Chloe would ever see him as anything more,
19:15 she flips the script and plants one on him.
19:17 You're probably right.
19:18 Detective.
19:29 This might have only taken halfway through season two to happen, but we were all longing for this
19:34 one since they first met. Number 11. Patrick, Jane, and Teresa Lisbon. The Mentalist. What's
19:40 with these partner duos? They just can't seem to keep their hands off each other. At least,
19:46 not for long, but definitely long enough. Out of seven long seasons of this show,
19:51 these two don't give into their romantic tension until the finale of season six.
19:55 "I love you.
19:56 Woo, you can't imagine how good that feels to say out loud, but it scares me,
20:04 and it is the truth."
20:06 At the start of the show, Jane is still recovering from the death of his wife,
20:10 so it seemed unlikely that anything romantic would materialize between the two partners.
20:15 Yet over time, the attraction between them becomes more and more obvious.
20:19 In a Ross and Rachel type move, Jane finally admits his feelings for Lisbon, just as she's
20:24 about to leave to take a new job. She initially rejects him, but comes back and kisses him.
20:30 "Hey, quit that!"
20:38 Number 10. Seatley Booth and Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan. Bones.
20:44 Yet another partnership team-up relationship to add to the list.
20:47 It's obvious from the beginning that these two would eventually get together.
20:51 "I'm the gambler.
20:51 I believe in giving this a chance.
20:57 Look, I want to give this a shot."
21:02 Even their co-workers think there's something going on between them.
21:05 One of them, Sweets, even writes a book about their relationship. Yet we still had to wait
21:10 through five seasons and a hundred episodes of sexual tension, over-protectiveness,
21:15 and even jealousy between them before finally seeing Booth and Bones kiss.
21:19 After reminiscing on their first case together to help Sweets with his book,
21:23 Booth finally builds up the courage to tell Bones how he feels.
21:26 "You mean us? No, the FBI won't let us work together."
21:31 "Don't do that. There is no reason."
21:32 It's a bittersweet moment since Bones is not ready to reciprocate,
21:39 but we all knew this was only the beginning.
21:42 Number 9. Ann Shirley Cuthbert and Gilbert Blythe.
21:46 Ann with an E.
21:47 "I have a very good imagination, so I just had to be sure this is real."
21:54 "Ann, I have to know. Do you truly have feelings for me?"
21:58 Ah, young love. It may have taken until the series finale of this short-lived show for them to kiss,
22:03 but it was well worth the wait. Gilbert clearly likes Ann from the very first time they meet.
22:09 On the first day of school, Gilbert saves Ann from a kid that's harassing her,
22:13 and asks if she had any dragons that needed slaying,
22:16 implying that he wants to be her prince charming.
22:19 "You're welcome. Need anything else? Any dragons around here need slaying?"
22:24 "No, thank you."
22:26 "Who are you?"
22:29 After that, Gilbert relentlessly tries to get Ann's attention, which proves elusive.
22:34 But eventually, the two become friends and fall in love.
22:37 Their first kiss may have been a long wait, but it was like a fairy tale.
22:41 Number 8. Brienne of Tarth and Jaime Lannister.
22:44 Game of Thrones
22:46 Let's just ignore everything that happens in the last few episodes of Game of Thrones,
22:50 and only remember the good times. Like when these two finally locked lips.
22:54 Jaime and Brienne didn't start off on the best of terms.
22:57 Honestly, there probably aren't worse terms two people could start on.
23:01 "Why should I care how you die?"
23:03 "You swore a solemn vow, remember? You're supposed to get me to King's Landing in one piece.
23:09 Not going so well, is it?"
23:12 But throughout the show, their respect for each other grew.
23:16 Jaime trusted Brienne enough to tell her the true story behind the Mad King's death,
23:20 and Brienne's honor inspired Jaime to be the knight he always longed to be.
23:25 Season 8 definitely lacks high points,
23:27 but the scene where Jaime knights Brienne is one of the best in the show's history.
23:32 "Arise, Brienne of Tarth. A knight of the seven kingdoms."
23:37 And their long-awaited kiss was pretty great too.
23:40 "I've never slept with anyone before."
23:42 "Then you have to drink. Those are the rules."
23:47 "I told you."
23:49 Number 7. Styles Stilinski and Lydia Martin.
23:56 Teen Wolf
23:57 This one was not just a slow burn for us, but for Stiles as well.
24:02 Stiles has harbored an unrequited love for Lydia since the third grade.
24:07 Lydia, on the other hand, hasn't even seemed to notice he was alive.
24:10 "That is freaking awesome. I mean, this is seriously gonna be the best thing that's
24:13 happened to this town since the birth of Lydia Martin. Hey, Lydia. You look like you're gonna
24:20 ignore me."
24:21 That is, until things start getting all mystical and magical in their lives.
24:25 Over time, Lydia starts to see just how deeply Stiles cares about her.
24:29 And she starts to care back. When Stiles is suffering from an intense panic attack,
24:34 Lydia kisses him as a way to calm him down. At the time, it may have been little more than a
24:39 distraction. But later on, even Lydia admits that that was the moment everything changed between
24:45 them.
24:46 "When I kissed him, that's when it all changed."
24:54 Number 6. Donna Paulson and Harvey Specter.
24:57 Suits.
24:58 When it comes to workplace romance, these two might take the cake for the longest wait time.
25:03 Fans waited seven seasons for these two to finally take the plunge,
25:07 although they would have to wait a whole other season for them to actually get together.
25:11 But even though it took them forever to get there romantically, these two always had each
25:15 other's backs. Actor Gabriel Macht even called the pair each other's other half.
25:20 "I don't know how to say this."
25:23 "Just say it, darling."
25:24 "Your dad, he had a heart attack."
25:30 He's right. Whether it was working on a case or being there for each other emotionally,
25:34 like when Harvey's dad died, these two were basically in a relationship already,
25:38 just minus the physical part.
25:40 "Where's Lewis? Because I have some news and I think you should both."
25:43 And boy, are we glad they added the physical part.
25:46 Number 5. Luke Daines and Lorelai Gilmore.
25:49 Gilmore Girls.
25:51 Quick banter and obscure pop culture references a happy couple make.
25:55 Fans knew from the start that Luke and Lorelai had something special.
25:59 They're the epitome of opposites attract. He's surly, she's perky, she's a caffeine addict,
26:04 he runs a diner that sells coffee. It's the perfect match.
26:08 "This is a coffee morning."
26:09 "Every morning for you is a coffee morning."
26:12 "This is a jumbo coffee morning. I need coffee and an IV."
26:14 "I'll give you tea and a balance bar."
26:16 But the showrunners dragged this obviously perfect couple out for four long seasons
26:21 before fans got that much anticipated first kiss.
26:24 "This could be a totally innocent situation and then we've done all this what if-ing for nothing.
26:28 Let's just go back in there and see if anything's weird, okay?"
26:32 "Okay."
26:32 "Is everything okay?"
26:38 "Yes."
26:38 In typical Gilmore Girls fashion, the build-up to the moment is hilarious and witty.
26:45 Lorelai's attempts to figure out if Luke is serious towards her are a hoot,
26:49 and the culminating moment is absolute perfection.
26:52 "What are you doing?"
26:53 "Will you just stand still?"
26:54 Number 4. Clark Kent and Lois Lane - Smallville
27:01 There have been many iterations of Clark Kent and Lois Lane,
27:05 but these two might win the award for the most screen time without a smooch.
27:09 Lois didn't make it onto the show until season 4, but when she did,
27:13 the chemistry she had with Clark was undeniable.
27:16 "Wait. Who are you?"
27:19 "Lois. Lois Lane."
27:24 Of course, the showrunners made fans wait until season 9 for that chemistry to finally come to
27:29 fruition, all while making Clark navigate his superhero life without letting Lois in on his
27:34 secret. These two had smaller kisses before, but whether it was Clark masquerading as Green Arrow,
27:39 or a run-in with Red Kryptonite, something always made those kisses feel a little less
27:44 official than this one, which is why it's perfect.
27:47 "I never should have tried out in the first place or dragged you there with me and I just..."
27:50 Number 3. Josh Liman and Donna Moss - The West Wing
27:59 "Hi." "Hi."
28:01 "Who are you?" "I'm Donna Moss. Who are you?"
28:03 "I'm Josh Liman." "Ah."
28:05 "Yes." "I'm your new assistant."
28:07 Of course, the polls could be the only thing to heighten the tension and finally push these two
28:12 lovebirds over the hump. It's hard to imagine The West Wing without Josh and Donna, but the
28:16 relationship almost never existed. Janelle Maloney was only hired for one scene in the first episode,
28:22 the scene where she brings Josh coffee. Apparently, the chemistry between the two
28:26 actors was so off the charts, producers hired her on as a regular. Seven seasons and much
28:32 political banter later, the two finally kissed in the wake of a campaign victory.
28:37 "God, help!"
28:39 Ah, the romance of politics. Number 2. Dana Scully and Fox Mulder - The X-Files
28:51 Talk about making us wait for it. Scully and Mulder may as well have invented the idea of
28:57 the slow romantic burn. Ever since the beginning, the tension, both positive and negative, between
29:03 these two could cut a knife. "If you have any data about my qualifications or credentials..."
29:07 "You're a medical doctor, you teach at the academy, here's your undergraduate degree in physics,
29:14 Einstein's Twin Paradox, a new interpretation, Dana Scully's senior thesis. Now that's the
29:20 credential, rewriting Einstein." It may have had something to do with Gillian Anderson and
29:24 David Duchovny's reported less than friendly relationship while filming, which could have
29:29 had a hand in creating sparks on camera. But don't worry, the two are good friends now.
29:34 Tension aside, after 143 episodes, our favorite alien-hunting,
29:39 crime-fighting duo finally locked lips. And at the turn of the century, no less. Fitting.
29:46 1. Niles Crane & Daphne Moon - Frasier
29:51 "Daphne, this is my brother Niles." From the first time Niles and Frazier met,
29:56 they were inseparable. "I'm so proud of you, Niles. You're so beautiful. You're so beautiful."
30:02 "I'm so proud of you, Niles. You're so beautiful. You're so beautiful."
30:06 "I'm so proud of you, Niles. You're so beautiful."
30:08 "I'm so proud of you, Niles. You're so beautiful."
30:10 "I'm so proud of you, Niles. You're so beautiful."
30:13 "This is my brother Niles." From the first time Niles laid eyes on Daphne,
30:17 he was smitten. But he was married at the time, so yeah, he couldn't really do anything about it.
30:22 But even after Niles' marriage ended, it took a long time for this relationship to come to fruition.
30:28 The list of "almosts" for these two is too long to count. From the pair's explosive tango at the
30:34 ball, to the Seattle heatwave fiasco, to Niles losing his nerve time and time again.
30:39 "I can't imagine what you must be thinking. Me barging in, asking to spend the night."
30:44 "Well, gee, I'm just thinking so many things."
30:48 But all the near misses made it all that more satisfying
30:51 when the two finally did the deed. Kissed, that is.
30:55 "You know, a lot of times." "Oh, for God's sake, Dr. Green."

31:05 "Live for today. Go for it, Sam. I tell you, go for it!"
31:08 "Are you okay?"
