00:32 Okay, before we start, tell everybody what Gastropub means.
00:36 Gastropub, we are a pub that serves handcrafted food, handcrafted drinks, and handcrafted
00:41 beer.
00:42 We serve the best products out there to make great food.
00:44 I like that.
00:45 There you go.
00:46 And we got some of the dishes here that are going to be on the menu for St. Patrick's
00:48 Day.
00:49 But this is always served here at the restaurant, right?
00:51 Yeah, we serve, we do have a seasonal menu.
00:54 But most of these items can be served all year round.
00:57 And we are offering a seasonal menu for St. Patrick's Day.
01:01 Which is very important.
01:02 And one tradition is, of course, the shepherd's pie.
01:05 The classic shepherd's pie.
01:06 What's in the shepherd's pie?
01:07 So we have ground beef, carrots, red onions, beef gravy, of course, white cheddar, mashed
01:11 potato, cheddar cheese, and some scallions for a garnish on there.
01:14 There you go.
01:15 And then the tradition of the...
01:17 Corned beef and cabbage.
01:18 Can't beat that.
01:19 Very traditional, white cheddar, mashed potatoes, braised cabbage, braised corned beef, a whole
01:24 mustard vinaigrette, and of course, a horseradish sour cream sauce.
01:28 I like it.
01:29 And then this is a tradition that people don't realize, but that is the deviled eggs.
01:32 But they're made not like your typical deviled eggs.
01:34 No, these are what we call our scotch eggs.
01:37 And what we do is we take some spicy ground pork, regular ground pork, wrap it around
01:44 in a parboiled egg, bread it, fry it, and we serve it with a whole grain mustard sauce.
01:49 Oh my gosh, so delicious.
01:50 Okay, what do we got here?
01:51 And of course, we've got to have potato cakes.
01:54 So this is potato cakes with bacon, cheddar, scallions, onions, deep fried, panko breaded,
02:01 served with the sour cream and the chili aioli.
02:05 All right, and then the big dish right here?
02:07 Over here is our pesto mac and cheese.
02:11 Corned beef, pesto sauce, cavatappi pasta, pickled onions, green onions, can't lose on
02:17 that one.
02:18 Oh my gosh, and then over here for dessert, is that the traditional shepherd pie?
02:21 Nope, this is our traditional whiskey bread pudding.
02:23 Oh, okay.
02:24 If you like bread pudding, it's a great way to top off a dinner.
02:27 There you go.
02:28 All right, you are going to make a Reuben sandwich for us, and that is what you have
02:31 down here.
02:32 It's a traditional Reuben.
02:33 And this is kind of a very important part of making Reuben is the bread, am I right?
02:39 We use a rustic white bread, very crusty on the outside, very soft in the middle.
02:44 But we also, what helps us is that we griddle it, gives us that nice firm texture.
02:49 We also have some Swiss cheese on it, season it with some black pepper.
02:53 Nice.
02:54 Of course, can't be a Reuben without some Thousand Islands.
02:57 There you go.
02:59 Look at that.
03:00 This is, and of course, this is torture to me right now.
03:04 I can't eat any of this, and it's like torture right now.
03:08 And of course, most important is our corned beef.
03:10 Oh my gosh, look at that.
03:12 And making your corned beef, do you make it a little secret there, or can you tell us
03:16 how you make it?
03:17 Well, it is kind of a secret what we do, but basically we braise our corned beef over
03:20 three and a half hours.
03:21 Oh my gosh.
03:22 Cool it off, slice it up, but it's what our ingredients that we braise it with, everything's
03:27 all fresh, made in-house.
03:28 I love it.
03:29 Okay, now, the important part is this, people, you gotta pay attention, and that's the way
03:32 you cut your Reuben sandwich, because you don't want too little, you don't want too
03:38 much on each side.
03:39 It's just perfect for getting the right amount of meat.
03:41 Now watch this.
03:42 Go ahead, Chef Andy.
03:43 So every bite, what you wanna do is every bite, you wanna taste everything in it.
03:47 So evenly disperse all your ingredients out, and of course, you gotta showcase everything.
03:52 Look at that.
03:53 That is right there, showcasing it.
03:55 I try to showcase things at home, just for myself, just to make it look good.

04:03 House cut, fried in-house, every single day.

04:08 As I show this off, let's talk about, of course, cocktails for St. Patty's Day.
04:13 St. Patrick's Day, you can't have St. Patrick's Day without some cocktails.
04:16 We have a Bailey's chocolate martini, an old-fashioned mule, old-fashioned Irish whiskey, and of
04:23 course, our green beer.
04:24 There you go.
04:25 Everybody was so busy looking at the food, let's go.
04:27 So here goes the martini, right?

04:33 It's our old-fashioned mule, Irish mule, and our Irish whiskey.

04:37 And of course, our green beer, all made with Delimerdew whiskey.

04:42 Also, it's a very important day of giving for you guys, and you guys are doing something

04:47 Yeah, one of the things that we do is we partner up with the St. Baldrick Foundation, which
04:50 helps kids with cancer.
04:51 So part of our proceeds that we make off of our drinks goes to that foundation up until
04:58 St. Patrick's Day.
