00:00 Hello, it's Richard Humph for the Blackpool Gazette. I'm here on Havlock Street in the
00:04 centre of Blackpool where at 1.43am this morning a huge fire broke out in the
00:09 building behind me. That's the Chaslin Holiday Apartments. Eight fire engines
00:14 attended the scene, an aerial ladder, breathing apparatus. Crews from Blackpool,
00:21 Bispema, all across the Fowl Coast were involved. Now it's 10 o'clock in the
00:25 morning. The fire is under control. There are only three fire engines left at the
00:30 scene attending the situation. The road is still cordoned off but it's all
00:34 quiet. Further information will be released by Lancashire Fire and Rescue
00:39 Service later. The cause of the blaze at the moment is not known and further
00:44 details have yet to be established. But certainly at the moment, you can see no smoke
00:50 coming from it now. It seems to be under control. The fire crews are here just in case. More
00:56 information will be available later on. It's Richard Humph of the Blackpool Gazette. Thank you.
