A huge cannabis farm spanning three floors was found inside a derelict building in Chorley.

Police were called to the building on Market Street at around 1pm on Wednesday following information from the community.

Officers discovered a sophisticated cannabis grow with around 300 plants inside.

There was also evidence the electricity had been bypassed, Electricity North West attending to make the property safe.

Police said no arrests have been made at this time, but an investigation is ongoing.
