00:00 So I wanted to say congratulations, your return was teased at the end of Afterlife,
00:04 but of course now what's it like being fully back again for this new Ghostbusters film?
00:09 Yeah it's great to bring the franchise back into full awareness of the public
00:14 the fans have been waiting for a long time. It's nice to not just be in the movie but have a reason
00:19 for being in the movie. I love the way that the studio and the creators have incorporated Winston
00:26 so you know he's done very well for himself and you know now he sort of runs the franchise and
00:34 I love that they've given him a lot of dimension and I think the fans have been you know wanting
00:40 that and I'm very happy. I know being back on set must have felt like one big nostalgic ride
00:47 but was there any particular scene or day that made you especially emotional to be back?
00:53 Well I think for me watching the young people who are really very very talented and very very good
00:58 just take on this and I know they are the future you know I mean we might do whatever but at some
01:04 point you have to let it go you know it's a different audience than it was in 1984
01:09 but I'm just really happy that we can be there and support them and it was very
01:14 just kind of reassuring to see you know McKenna Grace and Logan and Celeste and
01:22 just see them do what they do so it's great yeah. Was there any advice that you gave them
01:27 about being a part of the Ghostbusters family and the tremendous fandom surrounding it?
01:31 Well no I find that people young people don't want to hear my advice.
01:36 So I'm sure that's not true. No no I gotta hit it you can't ever say but you know they're pros
01:44 and I learned from watching them so you know but we spent some time talking together and hopefully
01:51 something gets passed along but no I never offer advice. I can't even give my kids advice
01:57 but it's just yeah it's great being a part. Listen I'll take your advice any day so anything
02:03 you got I will listen. Finally I just wanted to say the ending of the last movie really got me
02:09 in my feelings because it was all for Ghostbusters Reunited. What was that like watching that back
02:14 on the big screen and seeing Harold reunited with all of you guys? That was emotional I mean for me
02:20 when I first walked on the set and I hadn't seen these guys in a long time and they had put on
02:25 their jumpsuits and I had my jumpsuit on and it was it was kind of a spiritual moment. I mean I
02:30 I'm just so thankful that we're still here because Harold isn't and we all felt that that absence
02:37 but Ivan Reitman was here at the time and he's transitioned since but yeah just it's almost
02:46 like something in your life that it's kind of there and then all of a sudden it materializes
02:51 and we're together and it's just it was very very special. This one too but that movie especially
02:59 sort of a reawakening coming together you know the family his family discovering Ghostbusters
03:05 along with you know the fans and yeah that was very very very special.
03:11 you
