00:00 I mean, I imagine that Blake Snell, I mean, I suppose you would probably know a little
00:07 bit more than me, but there are probably like several complex reasons why Blake Snell and
00:12 Jordan Montgomery and these guys are not signed.
00:14 I mean, honestly, I hope, I hope for their purposes, they are just playing total hardball
00:19 with the organizations that want to sign them and saying, you know, do you, I, we are going
00:23 to maximize these dollars.
00:25 We are not falling in line.
00:27 And if major league baseball wants to be a product where some of the best players are
00:30 left on the sideline because front offices and ownerships don't want to pay, then I suppose,
00:36 you know, I guess so be it.
00:38 I think the more interesting thing about the Dylan Seas trade is that basically the market
00:43 for him did not seem to be that like the Padres, and I don't know a ton about the Padres farm
00:49 system, but I'm going to guess it's not absolutely overflowing at the baseball America top 100
00:55 guys, and that at his age, it kind of just made more sense.
00:59 Bring this guy in the door, keep him on the team for three or four years, maybe by the
01:02 next time that we have a good team with these young guys, because they do have plenty of
01:06 young guys on the roster who are under contract.
01:09 By the time we built a new nucleus, Cecil still be on the team and still be fine.
01:16 Honestly, Craig, what I thought was going to happen was we would get the New York Yankees
01:20 saying, all right, Garrett Cole, you're out for three months and then four months and
01:24 then you're having a UCL surgery.
01:27 I thought they would be the C's team.
01:30 And how is it Saturday, March 16th and agent and Garrett Cole is not pitching and Blake
01:34 Snell has not been panic signed by the New York Yankees.
01:37 That is that is above and beyond me.
01:39 Yeah, no, I mean, it looks like the Yankees are done.
01:42 I mean, really?
01:43 I mean, they've had their chance at this.
01:45 It doesn't appear that it's going to happen, at least to me.
01:47 I'm going to guess I look, both of them are represented Davis by Scott Boris.
01:51 So let's be clear on that.
01:53 Right.
01:54 Like that's that's definitely a part of this conversation.
01:55 A lot of his guys went down to the end and still may very well be.
02:00 Yeah.
