00:00 >> Kyle Busch comes home second place tonight.
00:02 Battling a tight truck all night long.
00:04 Looked like you did everything you could at the end.
00:06 All over the racetrack trying to find a lane to get there.
00:09 Maybe one more lap.
00:10 What do you think would have happened?
00:11 >> We would have wrecked.
00:15 I mean, the crazy part about it is we fought loose all through practice, all through qualifying,
00:20 all through the beginning part of the race.
00:22 On older date codes of tires and then we put on the newer date codes of tires and instantly
00:27 tight.
00:28 Just not being able to prepare and practice on what you expect to race on hurt us.
00:34 So we tightened up all day.
00:37 And obviously I don't think we were as tight as the 16 or 19, whatever number it was at
00:41 the end.
00:42 But, you know, just track position.
00:45 I let him go early in that run to just go burn his stuff off.
00:50 Track position at the end, just the aero effects let him be in front of us and got him a win.
00:55 So didn't have enough rubber on the road to outdo him.
00:58 But thanks to Spire and Brian and everybody on this team for giving me a chance to come
01:02 out here.
01:03 Definitely learning a lot.
01:05 It's frustrating to not run as good as I'm accustomed to.
01:09 So we got some work to do.
