00:00 The Sunday Times Best Places to Live list for 2024 has been announced, after a team
00:08 of expert judges travelled up and down the UK, leaving no stone unturned to find the
00:12 very best of the bunch, both overall and regionally too.
00:17 It means the judges picked out a regional winner for Wales, with Abergavenny in Monmouthshire
00:21 taking home the crown.
00:26 And this time, for the first time, the overall winner is in Scotland. Great schools, great
00:30 shops and the great outdoors all come together for the judges' favourite North Berwick in
00:35 East Lothian. It's also the first time a seaside town has come out on top.
00:39 The list, which has been running for 12 years now, looks at things like culture, transport,
00:44 school league tables, house prices, broadband speeds, access to greenery and vibrancy of
00:49 the high streets to decide on a winner each year. But with so many great places to be
00:53 in our region, do you agree with the judges' decisions?
00:58 Is Abergavenny the best place to live in Wales, or would you have picked somewhere else?
