00:00 >> Not to really put you on the spot, but
00:01 could this be your last stretch of Husky football potentially?
00:05 >> Yeah. >> Is that a possible?
00:06 >> Absolutely.
00:07 I mean, that's definitely in full effect.
00:08 But right now I'm just kind of focused on week to week,
00:10 playing my best ball out there and putting the best tape on I can.
00:14 We got every week is gonna get better and better with the competition,
00:17 especially this week.
00:19 Two good edge guys, so I'm excited for each matchup.
00:22 But my whole goal right now is week to week, put the best film I can out.
00:25 And yeah, go from there.
00:27 Cuz like went on to Oregon State and down to Tucson,
00:30 I'm going, I might not ever come here for a football game again, for me.
00:33 And I'm thinking, some of you guys, like he just said,
00:36 he's definitely not coming back and he's got eligibility left.
00:39 >> Yeah.
00:39 >> But I'm just thinking some of you guys are probably thinking, yeah,
00:42 I'm on a farewell tour.
00:43 I mean, possibly.
00:44 >> Yeah, absolutely.
00:45 Like Braylon, great player.
00:47 If that opportunity presents itself, I mean,
00:49 that's been my dream since a little kid.
00:51 But right now I'm just kind of focused on putting the best film I can out right now
00:56 and helping this team win games, so yeah.
00:58 >> When you came here from Colorado, did you know the potential?
01:04 I mean, you've changed coaches for sure.
01:05 >> Yeah. >> And a lot of changes,
01:07 the fitness and the mindset.
01:09 But you came to Washington probably to do something like this,
01:12 I would think, originally.
01:14 And you were probably talking to Peterson's staff initially.
01:16 >> Yep, I was.
01:17 >> Yeah, so what were they saying back then, that you could do something like this?
01:22 >> Yeah, I mean, coming in, growing up through high school and
01:26 going through high school, Washington was the big time program.
01:29 I mean, 2016, obviously, the CFP run, then the Fiesta Bowl, then the Rose Bowl.
01:33 So they're playing in those big New York Six games.
01:36 And that was definitely one of my dreams, playing those big games.
01:39 And I wanna go to the coaching staff that can develop me to get me to the next level
01:42 and be where I wanna be.
01:44 But yeah, definitely going through just recruiting and
01:48 Coach Peterson, I wanted to play in those big time games.
01:51 And obviously, we have a bunch of staff changes now.
01:53 So we've gotten here through hard work and perseverance.
