Dress-up party says price to pay if cash no longer king

The Katter Australia Party have lodged a motion to parliament to keep cash as legal tender in Queensland, all while dressed as discount royals

00:24 It only takes about three cuts of the line going up to the North Queensland areas and we have no telecommunications for months.
00:33 We want to make sure that not only do Queenslanders have an opportunity to have access to cash,
00:38 but also want to make sure that Queenslanders have an opportunity to be able to use that cash in whatever government agency or department,
00:45 whether they're paying their bills, whether they're paying their speeding fine, all the way through to paying their registration.
00:51 And making sure that the State Government starts to take positive steps to ensure that cash can be used in all government-backed areas, including sports stadiums.
