00:00We aren't in this fight because it is easy. We are in it because we believe in progress.
00:07But we are at a crossroads. And as you know, this election means more than most.
00:15It's a clear choice between a government I lead that will keep Queensland moving forward,
00:22or an LNP that will wind back the things we've fought so hard for,
00:28and cut the things Queenslanders rely on.
00:31I grew up in Petrie, not far from where we are today.
00:35But it was a world away from Brisbane City.
00:38I was the first person in my family to go to university,
00:41and I could do that because of good Labour government policy.
00:46But there were challenges.
00:48One of them was the cost of travelling from Petrie to UQ every day.
00:53It made me think, why do we penalise the people who live furthest away,
00:58with the highest public transport costs, when they are the ones...
