00:23 Last night, Senator Robin Padilla sponsored the plenary session and it was a good debate by the Senators.

00:31 But the lawmakers have a clarification.

00:33 We are clarifying that medical cannabis is a complementary treatment that is used in the medicines that a patient is using.

00:46 The Senator also gave a statement that it is not in violation of the current law, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

00:54 And this bill has a protection like the existence of an electronic monitoring system

01:00 so that the government can monitor that everything is in compliance with the limitation of the bill.

01:06 We also ensure the placement of safeguards in every step from cultivation to the arrival of qualified patients.
