00:00 I don't have a license, don't use BBC, and I just think it is just...
00:04 Could it be described as a cartel? Maybe. I don't know.
00:08 Why force everybody to have a license for one channel
00:12 if that's what you have paid adverts for?
00:13 People are forced to have it.
00:14 You want to watch live television, you have to have a license.
00:17 Even if you're watching Sky Sports or ITV,
00:19 you still have to have a licence, but it's for the BBC, so scrap it.
00:22 Don't force people to pay for something
00:25 that they don't want or might not want.
00:28 We are already a heavily taxed nation, as it is.
00:31 I refuse point blank to have Sky or Netflix or any of them
00:38 because I find very much, for the cost of the licence fee,
00:42 I get more television available to me than I can possibly watch.
00:47 So I'll record a series over a few weeks and then binge watch it,
00:52 like people talk about doing with things like Netflix,
00:54 but I do that with mainstream free-to-air television.
00:57 For the cost of my licence fee,
01:00 I think it's incredibly good value for money
01:03 unless there's something specific you want.
