00:00 Hello, my name is Jenna. I'm here at Jenna Blair Yoga in Bellevue, Shrewsbury, in our beautiful little yoga studio space.
00:10 We have got some exciting news. We've just been awarded a grant from Arts Council England to deliver some wide-ranging creative projects all around the theme of connection.
00:22 So the very word 'yoga' actually loosely translates as 'connection'. So we're really looking forward to offering lots of different creative projects over the next few months
00:33 that inspire that sense of connection within people, to themselves, to other people, to the community around them.
00:41 So watch this space for our whole programme of events soon to be announced.
00:48 And it's going to be quite varied, isn't it? It's not just yoga and maths. It's partly being out in the community, partly here in the studio.
00:55 We've got journaling, craft work. Just fill us in a little bit on some of the...
01:00 Yeah, absolutely. So some of the sessions will take place here in our studio space, whereas others will take place in different locations in Shrewsbury and Shropshire, both outdoors and indoors.
01:11 Some of the sessions will be open to anybody who wants to come along, and others will be designed for specific groups in the community that may face challenges to accessing this type of activity normally.
01:22 So any challenges around finance, access, transport, etc. we hope to address.
01:28 And yeah, really wide-ranging workshops from dance and singing to music to craft to journaling to visual arts to writing poetry.
01:41 Really broad range of offerings.
