00:14 Jason Amisola of PTV Davao has a report.
00:18 It's rare to see Justin, a mechanical engineering student, face many people.
00:26 But because of the booth in the Palace Show, he got the chance to perform on the stage.
00:33 Here, he has more confidence in himself.
00:36 There are many opportunities that only young people can try.
00:41 Like me, you can't find this anywhere.
00:46 He also went to the booth of PTV to try the on-the-spot TV reporting.
00:52 Justin was one of the students who was hooked on the last day of the community caravan at the Presidential Communications Office.
00:59 Some of the teachers of USTP were happy and learned here.
01:03 Like Rhea, a physical education teacher.
01:06 She tried to operate the drone camera, a new experience for her.
01:11 Actually, it's scary because my hands are heavy because I can't control the remote.
01:21 If you're not good at driving, you'll bump into people around you.
01:32 It's scary and exciting.
01:36 On the last day of the caravan, the PCO launched their information campaign
01:41 to make it easier for the youth to access the government information.
01:46 Like Zairil, she learned it for the first time.
01:49 It helps us to guide how to extract documents from the agencies.
01:56 They found out that we have an EFOI platform where they can request for the document, the information at the tip of the fingertips.
02:04 According to PCO Assistant Secretary Patricia Martin,
02:08 Mindanao Leg was a success for the PCO community caravan held in Bukidnon and Cagayan de Oro City.
02:15 There were so many participants and it's not just that they're super participative,
02:21 they were asking questions, they were very curious.
02:24 I think that's nice to see that the students are very interested in what we're sharing.
02:30 Martin added that the PCO community caravan will continue to be held after the summer school break.
02:36 In total, more than 10,000 students were included in the launched community caravan in Bukidnon and Cagayan de Oro City.
02:44 The PCO's goal is to continue to give the youth their right to freedom of information in the country,
02:52 as well as to stop the spread of false information or fake news.
02:56 From Cagayan de Oro City, Jason Amisola for Pambansang TV in Bagong, Philippines.
