00:04 let's meet a woman who travels alone in the middle of nowhere.
00:09 Reina Abelia is a photographer.
00:16 That's why it's natural for her to look for pictures that are in the middle of nowhere.
00:22 Like an ambrotype where the images are formed in glass plates.
00:28 One of the subjects that she likes to capture is nature.
00:35 And because it's her dream to travel the Philippines,
00:40 she challenged herself to travel alone to see the beauty of our country.
00:46 And her vehicle is a Stig.
00:50 Because Reina is a mechanic and she's used to fixing things,
00:53 she retrofitted the vehicle she used for her overland travel.
00:58 Usually, a vehicle is made without a guide.
01:02 Here, she can sleep, cook, eat, and take a bath.
01:12 Yes, that's a shower.

01:18 It's like a home.

01:20 On March 2, 2023, Reina started her solo overland traveling adventure in Luzon.
01:30 From the vast plains of Pagodpo de Locos Norte
01:34 to the mountains of Sagada.
01:43 From the tip of her Luzon leg, she reached the beautiful ocean of Bataan.
01:49 She continued her journey in Visayas.
01:57 Here, in the water, she took many solo adventures.
02:01 And in Apo Island, Negros Oriental,
02:06 she encountered a model that is beautiful and a treasure.
02:13 In Bohol, she studied freediving.
02:15 From Visayas, she continued her journey in Mindanao.
02:23 In Cotabato, she visited Masjid de Macuom Mosque in Maguindanao.
02:31 She also stayed at a typical house in Tiboli in Lake Cebu, Cotabato.
02:38 In just 121 days, after starting her journey on July 4, 2023, Reina drove home.
