00:07 This simple yet lively stall sells the beloved traditional delicacy year-round, alongside favourites such as roti canai, curries and satay.

00:17 The business is run by the bubbly Azian Mahmud, or Kak Yan as she is fondly known.

00:23 She started Warung Ketupat Yan about 20 years ago, growing it from the size of a burger stall to the spacious compound that it is today, offering, of course, a delicious variety of ketupat.

00:51 Her ketupat pasar is a crowd favourite.

00:54 The warung is also a popular gathering place for Kak Yan's friends and relatives who enjoy chatting while wrapping ketupat together.

01:02 Kak Yan usually makes about 400 ketupat pieces daily from Mondays to Thursdays and close to 1,000 pieces on the weekends.
