00:00 Hi there and welcome back to EdinburghNews.com. I'm Rhoda Morrison, I'm the editor here and I'm going to run through just some of the main stories from the day so far.
00:08 Along with our 16 sister city titles, the Edinburgh Evening News has today launched Project Peter Pan, a project which aims to give a voice to those in their 20s and 30s who have negotiated a pandemic and work hard but are still lost.
00:22 Our reporter Jamie Saunderson spoke to an Edinburgh dad to a toddler who fears that he will never be able to buy his family a home of their own.
00:30 34-year-old Martin Dick lives in rented accommodation in Slateford with his partner and 3-year-old daughter and he says that moving goalposts have made it impossible for them to save a housing deposit.
00:41 He said the only chance of doing so would be to get family inheritance, the chance of which he said were slim to none.
00:47 And some traffic news today, drivers on the Edinburgh City Bypass are facing long delays after two separate breakdowns on the road.
00:55 Traffic Scotland is reporting delays of around 20 minutes due to the incidents which have left the road partially blocked.
