00:00 I went along to Duck and Waffle to celebrate International Waffle Day on
00:04 Monday March the 25th with the St. James Quarter restaurant having a special
00:09 Waffle Week menu to celebrate. The Waffle Week menu includes Mascarpone and Wild
00:17 Garlic Pesto, Chicken and Waffle, Knickerbocker Glory and Tiramisu.
00:27 To start with I went for Chicken and Waffle which is fried chicken, pickles,
00:31 coriander, cornbread waffle served with Frank's red hot sauce butter.
00:38 A great and ingenious way to celebrate International Waffles Day.
00:55 The chicken waffle was simply delicious and a great start to Waffle Week at
01:01 Duck and Waffle in Edinburgh. Needless to say I was one satisfied customer.
01:11 Despite being full after my beautiful main I persevered to the pudding menu and
01:16 went for Knickerbocker Glory which features Millionaire's shortbread, vanilla
01:21 ice cream, whipped cream, dark chocolate and buttermilk waffle squares.
01:27 The Duck and Waffle Knickerbocker Glory was beautiful and a great end to a great
01:45 meal. After spending International Waffle Day in Duck and Waffle in
01:50 Edinburgh I can't wait for next year
