00:00 I'm Paul Saunders. Paul, tell me what you're doing here and where we are today.
00:04 We're at Padnall Junior School, running around the playground and field for seven hours to
00:09 raise money for Hannah's holiday home appeal. So tell me where the idea came about and why
00:13 you wanted to do it. I've been at Padnall for ten years and Hannah
00:17 used to be a student here before she sadly passed away. She's always had a garden and
00:22 I thought I'd try and do something to raise some money for the charity. I've liked running
00:26 so I thought why not try and run around the field and get the kids involved as well.
00:31 So I understand the kids have been getting involved and lots of cheering you on.
00:36 So they were going to come out for 20 minutes each class but the rain has put that off a
00:40 bit but they've been cheering me on through the windows which has been great.
00:43 So despite the rain you're still doing it, still committed?
00:46 Yeah, I'm going to crack on. Keep going in the rain, we'll be alright.
00:49 And do you know roughly how far you'll run today?
00:53 No, maybe 30 miles, maybe not quite that much, maybe just over. We'll keep an eye on it.
01:00 And is there a target you're hoping to raise?
01:03 I was hoping I might get £500 but it's already way over double that. We've been doing a raffle
01:09 as well so we've sold loads of raffle tickets and I don't think we've counted that money
01:12 up yet. So we're on probably nearly £1500-£2000 so yeah, really pleased.
01:17 And how are you feeling? Not too bad at the moment, hands are a bit
01:20 cold, we're only two and a half hours in so no I'm doing okay at the moment.
01:26 Well wishes, best of luck. Thank you very much.
