Labour’s Anneliese Dodds has suggested the PM is arrogant after he awarded Conservative Party donor Mohamed Mansour a knighthood. The businessman has been honoured for his business, charity and political service and donated £5m to the party last year.

00:00 Well, last January, Mr Mansour was the biggest ever individual donor to the Conservative
00:06 Party. That five million donation was the biggest that they had had up to that point.
00:12 And it really feels like there's an automatic pass now for those Conservative donors with
00:18 Rishi Sunak. This all seems to be to do with his internal party issues. But we shouldn't
00:24 have a prime minister who's focused on his party. We should have a prime minister who's
00:28 focused on the needs of the country. Now it seems that the prime minister is either incredibly
00:33 arrogant and he feels like it doesn't matter what the public thinks, or perhaps he's demob
00:38 happy, believes that he's on his way out. Either way, clearly his actions are not ones
00:44 that are going to be increasing trust in politics with this latest donors list, and particularly
00:49 with the honour that's been bestowed on Mr Mansour.
