A unique cafe for pet lovers has recently opened near Manchester City Centre.
Cuppapug in Salford is a permanent cafe for fans of pugs to book in time to play with, cuddle and learn about supporting the breed through charity partners.
There are pug themed smoothies, coffees, teas and cupcakes, but of course the most important part is the pups themselves.
The resident pugs are owned by people who run the cafe, and you can even bring your own to join in the fun.
The space is designed with pugs in mind to play, feel safe and enjoy their environment.
We took a look at the new cafe and met some of the adorable pugs.

01:05 tricks for treats as well, and she is just absolutely adorable.
01:08 Cuppa Pug has been open for two years now in London, it just opened in Manchester six
01:13 weeks ago as well.
01:14 It started because I have an absolute crazy passion for pugs, and that's mainly because
01:18 I see them as a little bit of the underdog, you know, they need a little bit more help.
01:22 I had four before I actually started the cafe myself, but they are all rescues and I couldn't
01:27 help a rescue story, so I needed a way of being able to live vicariously through helping
01:31 other people learn about pugs and rescue pugs as well.
01:35 We have pug themed drinks and snacks that you can enjoy whilst you are here.
01:39 You can feed the pugs, you can play the pugs, you can jump in the ball pit with them, but
01:43 we also have another side as well and that's the work that we do with our charities as
01:46 well.
01:47 So we have three or four charities that we support all around the country and that's
01:50 their rescue and rehoming of pugs, so 10% of all of our ticket sales go towards their
01:56 rescue and rehome efforts with pugs.
01:58 What I think is so fantastic about Cuppa Pug is when people come up to us and say, "Thank
02:01 you for sharing your dogs with us."
02:03 And it's something I didn't really think about when I started.
02:05 I did think about, "Do I want my pug sitting on everyone's laps?" and things like that,
02:09 but then I saw how much they enjoyed it and how much they enjoyed the environment, I thought,
02:12 "Yeah, they absolutely love it."
02:14 So to be able to have a place where people, you know, sometimes people are allergic to
02:18 dogs, they can't have dogs in rented accommodation or they miss their dogs at home if they're
02:21 here studying, to have a place that you can just come to for an hour, chill out, sit on
02:26 the floor, have a dog on your lap, like, it's the best therapy.
02:31 It's probably the cheapest therapy as well.
02:33 Pugs have got such a bad rep sometimes for not being able to breathe properly or being
02:37 overweight or just badly bred, you know, and what we are here to do is just not to be judgmental.
02:43 This is a complete safe space for pugs and people to come and play and enjoy being around
02:47 dogs as well, but at the same time we want to educate people on how you can breed a healthy
02:51 pug, how you can rescue pugs, and actually how to look after them.
02:55 They're a lot of work, you know, they're a loyal dog, but they're a lot of work, but
02:57 what you put in, you get out of as well.
