Everywhere I went with my dog in Manchester City Centre

  • last month
To celebrate National Dog Day, I brought my little Shih Tzu, Cooper into work with me so that we could explore central Manchester to see where she was allowed.

We know it can be stressful organising a shopping trip around a little pup, so hopefully this helps!

00:00So you might be wondering why I'm laden with quite so many bags on today's video and well
00:04There's one very simple reason. I've got a pack not just a camera kit, but also
00:09The stuff for this beast
00:11This is my dog Cooper and she's come with me to Manchester today because it's National Dog Day and as part of the celebrations
00:17I want to bring her along with me to show you all the places near central Manchester that you can go with your little
00:21pup just say hi coops
00:26Let's get going
00:28This is her at Victoria happy as Larry, so let's see where we went
00:33So we've just left the train station and we're on our way now up towards the Arndale where you are allowed in with dogs
00:38But it's on a shop-by-shop basis really to see which stores you're allowed in
00:42So I'm going to try out a few and then we'll get a coffee. But first things first, I think Cooper's seen some grass
00:49So let's get into what we got up to first
00:52Cooper had a little prance on the grass and then we found our way up to Manchester Arndale here
00:57she is looking all spectacular and
00:59The first stop was the USA sports shop Cooper loves a bit of NFL
01:03So we were trying to find her a little hat something that she can remember the day by
01:07She tried this but didn't seem too keen. So we had to put it back
01:11Next up we had to face the challenge of an escalator
01:13So she did get a little lift up there and well, she felt like a princess seemingly being a shih tzu
01:18She's a big fan of Asian culture. So we tried to go in a seo, but because it's a food shop
01:22She wasn't allowed in so instead we explored the Taylor Swift section of the HMV and Cooper while a big Swiftie already had this album
01:29So I didn't need it again
01:29we then went in Damage Society where Cooper unlocked a little goth girly era and bought herself an
01:35Amazing pink and yellow bandana. Look at her there. Isn't she cute and
01:40Then we had to face another escalator if you can believe it
01:43So at this point Goops was pretty overwhelmed
01:45So we thought we'd take her out for a little run and this is on Piccadilly Gardens
01:48and
01:51We're on our way for a coffee
01:53So we went to foundation which is well known to be a particularly dog friendly coffee shop in Manchester
01:59Hello, and welcome to coffee catch up today. We're in the whipped cream pop cup from foundation. What do we think Coops?
02:09Bless her she's had a she's had a long day and after coffee it was time for lunch
02:13So we stopped on the way to admire this water feature and then we went
02:16Towards the Cathedral to go to the allotment, which is a vegan restaurant and somehow Cooper magically appeared inside there before I got in there
02:23So this is what it looks like inside. The allotments are very successful vegan restaurant and has been nominated for awards
02:28We've got the afternoon tea Johnny around 16 quid per person or 18 if you wanted a glass of bubbly
02:33I loved the cauliflower wings Cooper loved the cucumber with cream cheese and lots even more the cream that came with the scum and
02:40So that's what we got up to just a little reminder the Arndale where you're allowed in with dogs
02:45But not every shop will let you in
02:46Went to foundation where she got a little pop cup there are treats on the counter too and the allotment where she rejected this strawberry
02:53That's all from us today. I've been Theo with Manchester world. This has been Cooper. We'll see you again soon
