00:05 Yeah, the Astros do have the worst record in the American League West at 4 and
00:09 10 because the Athletics got a win yesterday on the road against
00:13 the reigning World Series champs in Arlington.
00:16 Texas closed as a $2 favorite on the money line.
00:20 The A's went outright, 1-0.
00:23 Now 5-8 this year for the A's and on the run line, they are 8-5.
00:29 Seth Brown solo shot in the second inning.
00:31 That was the only run by either team on the day,
00:35 as Oakland gets a big upset victory of Texas yesterday on the road.
00:40 >> That's a pretty strong line up for the Rangers and you only get one hit here.
00:43 And that's a one to nothing win for the Athletics.
00:45 JPC is just your run of the mill pitcher, goes six and a third.
00:48 One hit, no earned runs, five Ks and three walks here for the Oak.
00:52 Look, I think everybody's united in the country right now, right?
00:55 Because you used to say we love the underdogs.
00:57 Oakland's not an underdog and it's not the player's fault.
00:59 It's the ownership group that's making a mockery here.
01:02 So we probably would like to see them being one in 12 as opposed to five and
01:06 eight at this point here, but four and two away from home.
01:08 And quite frankly, they probably just like to play in front of fans here,
01:11 which is why they're doing so well on the road and
01:13 probably not so well in their home ballpark out there in Oakland.
01:16 But that's a good, I'm stunned by this year.
01:19 I didn't expect a one to nothing victory for the Oakland Athletics.
01:22 And I didn't expect the Oakland Athletics to be all that competitive early.
01:25 But yet here we are in April.
01:27 If you're just shooting the money line here for the Oakland Athletics,
01:29 you're doing damn well even though you're only five and eight right now.
