00:00All right, so let's look at where the New York Jets are after falling to two and six.
00:08Obviously, you know my thoughts, DRS.
00:10I feel like you're pretty much in line.
00:12The season is over for the New York Jets.
00:14They are not going to make the postseason.
00:16We will see a 13-year playoff drought continue into 14 seasons.
00:21Is there anything that you could point to for anybody out there that maybe is either
00:25a Jets fan or still has belief in New York to have an outside look at the postseason?
00:31Is it even worth a sprinkle on a plus 5.70 price for gangrene to see the playoffs?
00:37No, there's no price because usually when you're two and six, Ben, you say, all right,
00:41am I in a division that I'm only a game or two back at this point because everybody is
00:45struggling?
00:46No, that's not the case.
00:47The Buffalo Bills look fantastic at six and two.
00:49So then you're throwing yourself into, can we get into the wild card race?
00:53Well, granted, you write the obituaries early in the season.
00:56A winner or two, you start to come back.
00:57We're going to do this multiple times with the Cincinnati Bengals.
00:59Hey, they're dead.
01:00Hey, they're back in it.
01:01Now they're dead again because that seventh wild card, there's a lot of bad football teams,
01:05but you look at the two and six Jets and say, well, how do they clean this up at this point?
01:08I don't know if you do.
01:10You're losing every which way possible, which is coaching, which is quarterback play, which
01:14is special teams play.
01:15And when that happens, how do you expect after a two and six start to turn the season around
01:20and win like the next four out of five games?
01:22You know how you do that?
01:23You don't because your team is flawed from the start this year.
01:26If they made those mistakes in the first eight games, they're going to continue to make those
01:29same mistakes, Ben.
01:30Nothing's going to change.
