00:00 So we're here at the Curry House Shrewsbury and you've been out of business for a while.
00:04 Just fill us in on what happened there chap.
00:06 Yeah, so it's been over a month now.
00:09 I'd say the chip fire went on fire and it contained in the kitchen the whole fire and there was more smoke damage.
00:18 And the whole kitchen needed retraining and the electrics and gas pipes everything.
00:24 So we've had a lot of work done and new appliances etc and elbow grease cleaning with all my staff.
00:31 And their family as well, friends as well.
00:34 So it's been really hard for us and it was Ramadan as well for us and it's been very difficult.
00:40 And thanks to all our friends, people who've been helping us, our contractors, our neighbours, everybody.
00:46 The local community have been very helpful as well.
00:49 Oh that's good, that's good.
00:51 I mean because there's a few people you employ here isn't there?
00:53 So there's a lot of people rely on this place being open isn't there?
00:57 How many staff have you got here roughly?
00:59 Eleven.
01:00 Yeah?
01:01 Yeah.
01:01 And so are you back open now or when's the official date?
01:05 The official date is Monday.
01:07 Monday, yeah. All systems go for Monday.
01:09 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Looking forward to it.
01:10 You're looking forward to it.
01:12 You could do with a break, couldn't you? After all this, you know, having to get this sorted.
01:16 If you get back open, don't even need the money.
01:18 Yeah.
01:18 It costs a lot of money.
01:19 Yeah, yeah.
01:20 So brand spanking new bits of kit, all nicely cleaned up as we can see and ready to be fired up.
01:27 So the word on the street is get yourself down, Mardle, Shrewsbury, Monday onwards.
