Andrew Vaughn and the White Sox are scuffling out of the starting gate.
Transcript
00:00 The Chicago White Sox lost 99 games a year ago, and most predictions this year had them
00:08 finishing last again in their division.
00:12 At 2-12 and 10 games now under .500, they are on pace for a much, much worse season
00:18 than that.
00:19 That won't persist.
00:21 The White Sox are not going to win just 23 games, which is the pace they're on at this
00:26 point, but 10 games under .500 already, the season is close to being lost.
00:33 They're going to have to turn things around quickly.
00:35 Now for Andrew Vaughn, he's batting .180.
00:40 There's a lot of time for him to fix things.
00:41 It's impossible to believe that he's going to struggle like this all season.
00:46 It's going to help a lot when he gets some of their regulars back in the lineup to provide
00:51 some protection around him.
00:53 He may not be getting much to hit.
00:55 He isn't hitting much at all.
00:56 He's got three RBIs and doesn't have a home run yet.
01:00 But chances are he's going to come back to life and wind up hitting somewhere in the
01:05 .250 to .270 range, which is sort of his norm, driving in 75 or 80 runs.
01:10 But it's going to have to start pretty quick for Vaughn and the White Sox, who are off
01:14 to just a horrendous start.
