Max Homa and Collin Morikawa climbed int he world rankings after each came close before faltering late at the Masters
Transcript
00:00 Max Homa and Colin Morikawa, the two former Cal golfers, no doubt were disappointed Sunday
00:09 with their performances late in the fourth round of the 88th Masters.
00:14 Both of them had a chance to win.
00:16 Homa has never won a major.
00:18 Morikawa has two major titles, but not the Masters.
00:21 They both had chances, and they both faltered when it really mattered.
00:26 They each came away with a million dollars prize money for sharing third place along
00:30 with Tommy Fleetwood.
00:32 But chances like this don't come along all the time, and they're going to be unhappy
00:36 with themselves over that.
00:38 They played great golf for the most part all week at Augusta National, but Morikawa had
00:43 a couple of double bogeys on the back nine Sunday, and Homa had one, and that pretty
00:48 much doomed their chances.
00:49 Scotty Scheffler was probably not going to be caught by anyone anyway, but you can't
00:54 make mistakes like that with someone so good in front of you.
