00:03 >> No, and also, but you know what's happening here?
00:05 We're taking a look at the Angels playing competent baseball and being 500.
00:09 They go on the road and take care of the Tampa Bay Rays yesterday as the Rays
00:12 dropped to 10 and 9.
00:13 If looking at the pictures in this baseball game, it's okay.
00:16 Reed Detmer's five and a third innings, two runs.
00:18 Only one of those, however, earned.
00:20 Littell, five and two thirds innings, three earned runs.
00:22 So competence starts out of both of those guys.
00:24 But maybe one of the hotter first four batters in the lineup in the league.
00:28 Take a look at Rendon, who started off horrendous here.
00:30 Batting 254 seems like an unbelievable miracle at this point.
00:34 As he gets two more hits yesterday and two more RBI.
00:36 Trouty blast a home run early in that game.
00:39 He's hitting 282.
00:40 How about Ward, the DH, 312 on the season.
00:42 Also getting himself an RBI with three hits yesterday.
00:45 And Logan Ohabi, the catcher here, goes one for five.
00:48 But he's still batting 340 on the season.
00:50 The Angels being competent here.
00:52 How about that?
00:54 I would be so mad if this was the 88 win game Angel season.
00:58 And it's with Otani not on the roster.
01:00 I mean, I don't think there's a real threat of that.
01:02 I still think this is a pretty bad baseball team.
01:05 You know, we've got Aaron Hicks batting fifth every day.
01:08 Louie Renfigo is involved.
01:09 Zach Neto did not, you know, he's not going to end up being one of the top shortstop
01:15 in baseball the way that we thought he would.
01:18 Reed Detmer's is like just the most average starting pitcher
01:22 that you're going to find out there.
01:23 I always find that Reed Detmer is just so overpriced in lines.
01:26 He's always kind of treated like a B- starting pitcher.
01:31 And I don't think that he is particularly of that level.
01:35 How about this for a Mike Trout stat?
01:38 Eight home runs and 80 plate appearances.
01:40 So a home run every 10 plate appearances.
01:42 11 RBIs.
01:43 I mean, if that does not tell you that the Angels are getting
01:46 pretty lucky in these games, I don't know.
01:48 I don't know what would.
01:49 Like, Trout is having this insane start to the season.
01:52 He's putting the team on his back.
01:55 I guess the biggest win for the Angels is that Anthony Rendon before the season
01:59 is like, I don't really care about baseball.
02:00 It's not really a priority in my life.
02:01 And he's still playing pretty solid.
02:04 So I guess good for Anthony Rendon.
