00:00 You even called something he did recently unforgivable.
00:03 And yet I forgave him.
00:04 And yet you forgave him.
00:06 I have so much faith in Draymond because I know him so well as a human being.
00:20 He's flawed, you know, we're all flawed.
00:23 But he would be the first to tell you he's probably more flawed than the rest of us.
00:28 He's one of the most loyal people I've ever met.
00:30 He's one of the most competitive.
00:33 He's one of the smartest players I've ever been around.
00:36 And yet he makes these decisions that hurt the team that aren't smart.
00:41 So how do you reconcile all that? It's really difficult.
00:44 Number one thing I would say is if we decided he wasn't worth it,
00:49 we would have moved off of him years ago.
00:52 But he's worth it.
00:53 And he's worth it not only because of the banners that are hanging out there,
00:58 but because he really is a wonderful human being.
01:03 It turned violent.
01:04 He punched Jordan.
01:05 He grabbed Rudy Gobert by the neck.
01:08 He flailed it.
01:09 Can't do that, right?
01:11 At that point, when the league suspended him, it was the best thing to happen to Draymond.
01:16 His career was on the line and it is on the line every day.
01:20 I'll be really honest, like during the suspension, I was sitting there like,
01:25 "Can he actually get a few sessions of therapy and change?"
01:29 I don't think that's possible.
01:31 But whatever he did over the last three months, he was the best version of himself.
01:35 The physical acts, that will cost him his career, not only in the NBA,
01:40 but beyond, the next career.
01:43 He knows that.
01:44 Draymond's complex.
01:45 His relationship with our franchise is complex.
01:48 But at the core of it is a deep loyalty and passion and love.
01:55 And we share that with him.
