00:00While staying here in South Africa, we spotted this little native mouse trying
00:04to get out of the pool.
00:09Not even quite sure what this is. Poor little bloke stuck in the pool. Couldn't
00:16get out. So what we'll do is we'll put him in this little makeshift nest, let
00:25him dry off and then let him go. Pretty small. And he was pretty exhausted and
00:32waterlogged. He definitely needed a helping hand to get back on his feet. So
00:40while he rested, we set out to make him a great little makeshift habitat while he
00:45recovered. With this old cardboard box, we made him a little nest, made sure he had
00:49water, did some research to figure out what would be the best food for him and
00:53also put in some natural furnishings to make him feel at home. And by the looks
00:59of things, he really seemed to enjoy it in there and he was getting into his
01:03food, which is a great sign that he was feeling better. So he's got more food,
01:09natural grass, seeds and a really good little bed and log and whatnot. And we
01:14sent a video of him back home and Grace has decided to name him Pegasus, which is
01:21a very just glorious name. This little bloke. So this is his little temporary
01:26habitat and now we're gonna pop him back in. There you go Pegasus. Well there you have it,
01:32that's part one of rescuing Pegasus. Tune in for part two to see how he goes.
