It's been three decades since Cunnamulla in outback Queensland had a junior cricket team. A group of local kids are determined to make a change, and the whole town is coming along for the ride.

00:09 Henry loves cricket. He dreams about it, he literally talks about it in his sleep.
00:15 The cricket obsessed kid from Cunnamulla in Outback Queensland loves the game so much it rivals that of his hero, the boy from Boweral, Don Bradman.
00:24 I love the fact that anyone can play and that you can be big or small, smart, doesn't matter what you're like, you can just play the game.
00:34 Finding a team however, can be difficult. The 11 year old makes a 400km round trip to Charleville every weekend to play.
00:42 Oh exhausting, sometimes we're up at 5, leave by about quarter to 6, 6 o'clock.
00:48 Cunnamulla hasn't had a junior team in decades, so Henry has rounded up a motley crew of locals.
00:55 Come down every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 3-5pm, hosted by Henry Land.
01:02 The team has been having a bat and a bowl down at the local park, but he's yet to agree on a name.

01:14 He's already got a few people hanging around offering some sponsorship.

01:21 Queensland Country Cricket have even offered to donate gear and put on clinics for these kids.

01:30 Before you bat you've got to bowl, and if you don't bowl then you don't get a bat.
