It is Queensland’s newest cricket club, and they may just be the best dressed in the country. Twelve-year-old Henry Land embarked on a mission more than a year ago to start a junior team in his hometown of Cunnamulla. He is now hosting the first game of the season.

00:00A toss, and they're off.
00:09Some last inspiring words from the kid who started it all.
00:13No pressure.
00:14I'm not losing to my sister, OK?
00:17This bunch of cricket-obsessed youngsters came together to start their own club.
00:22I went and played for Charleville for a season and I didn't get to train like the other kids,
00:28so I rallied some of my mates to come down to the nets and help me train.
00:32Word spread, and now 25 kids are part of the In-Use, enough to make two teams for their
00:38first game of the season.
00:40A huge feat for the tiny town that hasn't fielded a junior cricket team in more than
00:4430 years.
00:45At the end of the day, like, kind of my little wins.
00:51Everyone gets to join and all that.
00:53We can have fun.
00:54Then we don't have nothing to do on the weekends and all that, we can just come here and play
00:58game cricket.
00:59Businesses donated uniforms, with a local artist contributing the e-newprint for the
01:04best-dressed cricket team in the country.
01:06They've done a lot with the design and a lot with the team, a lot with the rules, learning
01:11the game, and kids can make it from anywhere.
01:13Until now, there was no team sport for kids once they reached high school.
01:17They've got something to look forward to, something to do, and it's something for the
01:21parents to come down as well.
01:23It means a great deal.
01:24Like, there are limits, I suppose, for rural and remote communities like ours, for sporting
01:29opportunities for young children, so to have a junior cricket club, that's just one other
01:34avenue.
01:35Twelve-year-old Henry is the catalyst.
01:38So what's next?
01:39To go and play triathlon in a game, and hopefully work, and flog them.
