00:00I'm the wrong guy to play hide-and-seek with.
00:05Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're counting down our picks for some of the most deadly bad guys there are.
00:11Ice, come on.
00:19Number 20, Ronan the Accuser.
00:21You will never rule Xandar.
00:25No, I will cure it.
00:31This cosmic Marvel foe has vanquished many opponents in his heyday.
00:35As a character whose job revolves around enforcing Kree laws,
00:38he's bound to get into more than a fair share of scuffles.
00:41Fortunately for Ronan though, he's more than prepared.
00:45He doesn't just have superhuman strength, durability, and an impressive intellect.
00:49He also has incredibly tough combat armor and a Cosmo Rod,
00:53which can be used to create force fields, shoot energy, and even fly.
00:58If that wasn't all, he's even recently developed the ability to create pocket realities that he can trap opponents in.
01:05These skills and resourceful gadgets quite literally make for a world of difference when on the battlefield.
01:13I don't recall killing your family.
01:19I doubt I'll remember killing you either.
01:22Number 19, Reverse Flash.
01:32This has worked out so well.
01:33Reverse Flash may not be a martial artist,
01:36but you hardly need to rely on skills like those when you have super speed.
01:40He can win pretty much any fight in an instant.
01:42That means he can take you down before you even blink an eye.
01:46Heck, he could take you down before you even realize you're in a fight.
01:49Even when he goes up against other speedsters like the Flash,
01:53he always finds a chance to slip away.
01:55When you're fighting the Reverse Flash, the goal isn't to beat him.
01:59It's to hope that he doesn't erase you from the timeline completely.
02:13Number 18, Sinestro.
02:20Being cold and calculating is kind of Sinestro's entire thing,
02:28and those traits lend themselves very well to a fight.
02:31As leader of the Sinestro Corps,
02:33Sinestro can use his Lantern Ring to summon light constructs to attack his enemies.
02:38Considering that he taps into fear in order to make everything work,
02:42it means that he's not really someone you should take lightly.
02:45You never know what kind of mind games he can be up to.
02:48Even without the ring, he's a highly skilled hand-to-hand combatant.
02:52He also has years of experience both from leading the Sinestro Corps
02:55and formerly serving under the Green Lantern Corps.
02:59It shouldn't sound too surprising when we say that you should fear this guy.
03:11Number 17, Prometheus.
03:18I've been waiting four years for this.
03:24There are many villains that are impressive in their ability to stand toe-to-toe
03:28against heroes like Batman or Superman.
03:30But what about someone who can face off against the entire Justice League?
03:34With a special helmet that allows him to learn and replicate any fighting style,
03:39Prometheus is an unstoppable enemy. Not unlike Batman,
03:43Prometheus has plans on top of plans for how to deal with any threat.
03:48And with a suit of incredibly durable body armor, he can withstand a lot of damage.
03:54While he's certainly reliant on his helmet, even without it,
03:57he possesses mastery over multiple martial arts.
04:01To say he's a dangerous fighter doesn't do this character justice.
04:04This is about so much more than revenge.
04:14Number 16, Cheetah.
04:27What do you want, Cheetah? To hurt you, Diana?
04:30What else? One of Wonder Woman's fiercest rivals,
04:33Cheetah is a villain with the abilities and appearance of a cheetah.
04:37With her devastatingly sharp claws, strength,
04:40and agility, she can cut pretty much anyone down to size.
04:44While her claws are arguably her most powerful weapon,
04:46her speed shouldn't go unnoticed either.
04:49DC once put out an official ranking of their 10 fastest characters,
04:53and Cheetah happened to be in the mix.
04:55She might not be on the level of Barry Allen or Wally West,
04:58but her speed, when matched with claws,
05:01and an animalistic rage can do serious damage.
05:04Better hope you don't cross paths with her anytime soon.
05:12That bracelet trick always impresses me,
05:15but at least I got to you once.
05:19Number 15, Vandal Savage.
05:24Originally a caveman,
05:33Vandal Savage became exposed to radiation from a meteorite that crashed to Earth.
05:38The radiation advanced his intelligence and gifted him with immortality.
05:42When you're as old as this guy,
05:44you're bound to know your way around a battle.
05:46Vandal is an expert in combat,
05:48and has an extensive knowledge of military tactics and weaponry.
05:51He also has access to cutting-edge technology.
05:55On occasion, he utilizes energy-based weapons,
05:58and has even used a gadget the size of a pen to take down speedsters.
06:02The thing with Vandal is that even if you somehow manage to overpower him,
06:06your victory is meaningless considering he's immortal.
06:10His abilities, intelligence,
06:11and stubborn refusal to die make him someone you don't bet against.
06:16You'll handle me?
06:20Little hero, do you really think you have what it takes to survive Vandal Savage?
06:27Number 14, Juggernaut.
06:29Don't you know who I am? I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!
06:34Few characters in the Marvel Universe are as much as an unstoppable force as the Juggernaut.
06:40With a bulky frame hidden underneath an impenetrable body armor,
06:44Cain Marko is practically invulnerable,
06:47which is great for him, but not so great for his enemies.
06:50This isn't really a character who strategizes in battle,
06:54but when you can barrel through walls, that's not an issue.
06:57Considering he can withstand the force of a building collapsing on him,
07:00his strength goes a long way,
07:02and with the help of the gem of Sidorak,
07:05he even has a healing factor to help him with injuries.
07:08It's probably for the best if you get out of the Juggernaut's way.
07:13I'm going to rip you in half now.
07:15That is such a Juggernaut thing to say!
07:18Number 13, Black Manta.
07:20And Cain sprams over the tiring cities of men.
07:30Many threats lay underneath the seat,
07:32but one of the most dangerous forces that Aquaman has ever faced has to be Black Manta.
07:38At first glance, it might seem like Black Manta is just a guy who wears a tacky suit,
07:42but don't be fooled. Since he was trained to fight by his dad as a child,
07:46he has an advanced knowledge of combat.
07:49He's also great with weapons,
07:51so much so that he even once took control of Aquaman's trident.
07:55He's a villain with endless gadgets,
07:57and an ambition that simply makes him refuse to quit.
08:00He might just be human,
08:02but Black Manta has managed to bring the king of Atlantis to his knees on many occasions.
08:08I'll show you the same mercy you showed my father,
08:12and cut you like the piss you are!
08:15Number 12, Sabretooth.
08:22Scream for me.
08:24Fueled by anger and bloodlust,
08:26Victor Creed proves to be one of Marvel's most ruthless mutants.
08:30His mutant claws allow him the ability to cut through essentially any material.
08:35And while that's kind of what he's known for,
08:37he's also got a lot more that makes him a dangerous brawler.
08:41His healing factor allows him to recover from many severe injuries,
08:45which is always great considering how many fights he gets into.
08:48What also aids him in fights is the knowledge he has. Sabretooth
08:52has been trained by multiple organizations such as Hydra,
08:56Weapon X, and the CIA. He might act like a wild animal,
09:00but that savagery is what helps him hold his own.
09:03You owe me a scream.
09:09Hey, Bob. I'm not finished with you yet.
09:11Number 11, Kingpin.
09:23Come on, come on!
09:25While Wilson Fisk tends to prefer fighting opponents through mental mind games
09:28and political maneuvers,
09:30this has never stopped him from getting his hands dirty when he has to.
09:34Sure, Kingpin might not have any powers,
09:37but that doesn't stop him from being a dominant fighter.
09:40He's extremely well-trained in martial arts.
09:43In fact, he once beat eight men from the toughest martial arts institutes
09:47in less than 20 seconds. And don't let that fluffy exterior trick you either.
09:52Nearly Kingpin's entire body is composed of muscle,
09:55meaning he's freakishly strong.
09:58It's no wonder he's been such a problem for superheroes like Spider-Man and Daredevil.
10:02This city doesn't deserve a better tomorrow!
10:06It deserves to drown in its own filth!
10:10Number 10, Crossbones.
10:19A recurring nemesis of Captain America,
10:22Brock Rumlow has gone toe-to-toe with Cap on several occasions,
10:26with mixed results. As a teenager,
10:28Rumlow ran away from home to train under Taskmaster,
10:32and his expert knowledge of weaponry
10:33and hand-to-hand combat quickly caught the attention of Hydra.
10:37This is gonna hurt. There are no prisoners with Hydra.
10:42Just order. And order only comes through pain. You ready for yours?
10:48Shut the hell up. Given the codename Crossbones,
10:51Rumlow's abilities improved,
10:53and he actually defeated the super soldier Bucky Barnes in one particularly bloody affair.
10:59Crossbones excels in marksmanship and strategy,
11:02as well as martial arts,
11:04and he literally laughs in the face of torture. Where all else fails,
11:08he has even learned brainwashing,
11:10so he has the edge even when he faces a stronger opponent.
11:16Come on!
11:19Number 9, Kraven the Hunter.
11:22As the name suggests, Kraven the Hunter considers himself the world's greatest big-game hunter,
11:27but rather than trap or shoot his prey,
11:29he prefers to kill dangerously large animals with nothing but his hands.
11:34Kraven sees Spider-Man as his greatest challenge yet,
11:38and although he usually loses out due to Spidey's resourcefulness,
11:41he is more than a match for the web-slinger, Spidey-sense and all.
11:45Besides being a hunter, Kraven is also a trained mercenary
11:50and when he took up the Spider-Man mantle to prove himself as superior,
11:54he even defeated Vermin, a foe Spider-Man was unable to take down.
12:02Faster than a speeding web line. Who am I dealing with here?
12:06I will not hurt her.
12:09So you're gonna hurt me instead? Spiders are revered as hunters,
12:14but you have proven to be easy prey.
12:17Number 8, Shredder. Does anybody have any idea about who or what this is?
12:24I don't know, but I'll better never ask to look for a can opener.
12:28There have been many versions of the Shredder over the years,
12:31but anyone who could take on four mutant amphibians is generally a pretty skilled fighter.
12:37By far the biggest enemy of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,
12:41the Shredder rose to the ranks of the Foot Clan at a young age,
12:44eventually leading the organization into terrorism and assassination.
12:49Feared among his peers, even before you take into account his spiked helmet
12:52and protruding armor, the Shredder has repeatedly overpowered Splinter
12:56and the Turtles both mentally and physically with his genius level manipulation
13:02and complete mastery of the martial arts.
13:04Number 7, Bullseye. When it comes to martial arts,
13:08Bullseye just comes up short against his arch rival Daredevil.
13:12But where he has the edge over the man without fear is in his pinpoint accuracy.
13:17From the age of 10, Bullseye was a perfect shot with a rifle.
13:21And as an adult, Bullseye has learned to use just about anything as a weapon.
13:25A playing card, toothpick, and his own tooth are considered deadly weapons to the psychopathic assassin,
13:31but he rarely resorts to such measures.
13:34Bullseye's obsessive research of his opponents and part-adamantium bones
13:38are usually enough to defeat anyone who stands in his way.
13:41Number 6, Storm Shadow.
14:04Though his allegiance has wavered over time,
14:06G.I. Joe Ninja Storm Shadow is most commonly known as the bodyguard for terrorist organization, Cobra.
14:13Storm Shadow has developed skills beyond those of your average ninja.
14:17Sure, being elusive is one thing,
14:19but Storm Shadow can climb vertical walls with his bare hands and move at lightning speeds.
14:25Where do you think the name came from?
14:27He is also a black belt in just about every form of martial arts,
14:31while he became virtually intolerant to pain while training under his uncle.
14:35And between them, they form one of 30 family generations who were trained assassins.
14:41Talk about meant to be. Number 5, Bane.
15:01Bane is known for his muscly exterior
15:03and for being the only one of the Dark Knight's villains to have broken the bat,
15:08but he is a lot more than just raw power.
15:11Bane spent time behind bars for crimes his father committed,
15:14where he learned to fully understand scientific principles
15:17and languages, working out for himself Batman's secret identity.
15:23Let's not stand on ceremony here, Mr. Wayne.
15:29For a man who outweighs and out-thinks the Dark Knight,
15:32he is also surprisingly nimble. After being experimented on while he was in prison,
15:37exposed to a mystery drug called venom, Bane developed enhanced strength, speed,
15:42and stamina, which makes it tricky for Batman to even land a single blow.
15:56Number 4, Ra's al Ghul.
16:07Ra's al Ghul's exact age differs with each comic book reboot,
16:11but one thing is for sure,
16:12he has been training in martial arts, swordsmanship,
16:15and the mystic arts for centuries. The Demon's Head of the League of Assassins,
16:21Ra's has a pretty effective anti-aging method in the form of the Lazarus Pit,
16:25whose rejuvenating qualities have gained Ra's near-immortality.
16:30Primarily a Batman villain, Ra's once defeated the entire Justice League
16:34using Batman's own techniques,
16:37and the so-called world's greatest detective learns to respect
16:40and even envy Ra's' intelligence and strategy.
16:44If not for his dangerous methods, Batman might have stayed well away from this particular enemy.
16:49Number 3, Mystique. She is often portrayed as an anti-hero on the silver screen,
16:55but comic book Mystique does not have quite so many redeeming factors.
16:59One of Magneto's most trusted sidekicks,
17:01Mystique can shapeshift her way into just about anything,
17:04and the cells that allow her to transform are multifunctional.
17:07She can compress her body to as thin as a piece of paper,
17:11making her virtually impossible to hit.
17:13And if you do manage to land a blow,
17:15she manipulates her organs to ensure it won't be fatal.
17:19Her tissues regenerate so often that she is able to maintain her youth,
17:23despite being over a hundred years old,
17:25and that's a whole lot of ass-kicking experience.
17:29What's the matter, baby? You don't think I look pretty like this?
17:36Number 2, Deathstroke.
17:38Let's see how you do against a real swordsman.
17:41Come and get some. After you, boy.
17:47Slade Wilson was a gifted tactician and military leader,
17:53even before a US Army super soldier experiment,
17:56which left him with heightened strength, speed, healing, and endurance.
18:01As Deathstroke, he has taken on and beaten Batman,
18:04the Green Arrow, and the Teen Titans with just one eye,
18:08after his wife found out what he had became and shot him.
18:11The experiment also granted him the ability to use 90%
18:15of his brain power, where a typical human allegedly is capable of using just 20,
18:20turning his tactical know-how into tactical genius,
18:23and turning his opponent's own moves against them.
18:26And just in case you were wondering,
18:28he has also mastered just about every martial arts form.

18:48Number one, Taskmaster.
18:51I've studied all of the Avengers' skills, especially yours, Captain.
18:56Taskmaster, I've read your file. I know all about your talents.
19:00Let's see you imitate this. Okay, you're a little better than I expected.
19:06After injecting himself with a modified steroid,
19:09Taskmaster unlocked the memory potential in his brain,
19:12leaving him able to replicate literally anything he sees.
19:16He has used the ability to mimic the athleticism of Black Panther,
19:20the martial artistry of Iron Fist, the swordsmanship of Silver Samurai,
19:24the archery skills of Hawkeye, and even the precise aim of Bullseye.
19:29It's lucky for Marvel's greatest heroes that he is rarely pitted against them,
19:33preferring to train criminals for various organizations,
19:37as he has never lost a one-on-one fight.
19:40Only one character in Marvel is manic enough that Taskmaster can't predict his next move,
19:45and you guessed it, Deadpool.
19:47I will destroy you!
19:52Who do you think is the supervillain with the best fighting skill?
19:55Let us know in the comments.
19:57You took it away from me! You took everything!
20:04I'm gonna kill you!
