00:09 According to PNP spokesperson Colonel Gene Fajardo, this is related to Memorandum Circular No. 2024-023,
00:19 which includes uniformed and non-uniformed personnel.
00:23 Therefore, police must remove their tattoos, especially if they are visible to the body.
00:31 They will be given three months to remove their tattoos.
00:37 Tattoos on the eyebrows, eyeliner or mouth are not subject to the law.
00:44 As for those who are considered unauthorized tattoos, they are extremist tattoos, discriminatory and racist tattoos.
