NGCP places Luzon, Visayas grids under yellow alert anew

00:00 The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines or NGCP has placed Luzon and Visayas grids
00:06 under yellow alert status anew.
00:09 The Luzon grid is placed under yellow alert status from 1pm to 5pm and from 6pm to 10pm
00:16 while the Visayas grid is from 1pm to 8pm.
00:20 Moreover, 18 power plants in the Luzon grid are still on forced outage and two facilities
00:26 are running on derated capacities while the Visayas grid has 20 power plants on unplanned
00:32 outage and 9 are on derated capacities.
