Oklahoma delivered a fantastic performance by blowing out Nebraska
Transcript
00:00The Nebraska Cornhuskers had a week. Huskers Athletic Director Trev Alberts relieved Scott Frost of his duties
00:06which cost the program a 7.5 million dollars more than it would have had if Alberts had waited until October 1st.
00:13That's how badly they wanted Frost gone.
00:16Unfortunately for them, it didn't seem to do much good as the Cornhuskers took a beating on Saturday losing at home to Oklahoma University
00:2249-14. The Sooners led 49-7 entering the fourth quarter.
00:27They scored touchdowns on five of their eight first-half drives and the momentum continued into the second half with 14 unanswered points in the period.
00:34Quarterback Dylan Gabriel posted 230 yards passing and two touchdowns before being pulled in the third.
00:40And Nebraska did score a touchdown on the opening drive,
00:43but things quickly unraveled for them with quarterback Casey Thompson throwing for just 129 yards on 20 pass attempts.
00:50The 49 points by the Sooners is the most Oklahoma has ever scored against Nebraska in program history.
