00:00Mike Fisher here in Princeton, at Princeton University, with Daniel Jones, the New York Giants quarterback.
00:05We're hanging around at the Jason Garrett camp. Of course, you're coaching. I'm just clapping and yelling at officials.
00:10You come here, probably as part of the reason, I'm sure, to inspire kids. That's why Jason wants you here.
00:16But I bet you also find this inspiring, too, to be around Jackie Joyner-Kersee and all these kids.
00:21Yeah, it's been a lot of fun hanging out here, and you see how excited these kids are to be here, the opportunity to play football.
00:28It brings you back to when you were doing these things and playing around, throwing around in the backyard, playing games on the playground, and going to camp.
00:37I think it's fun. You remember those times. Like you said, it inspires you and helps you remember why you do it.
00:47Clearly, and you had a short time with Jason, of course, with the Giants, but you must have created a bond with him, obviously.
00:53Yeah, he's a special guy. I think anyone that knows him knows that. Just the way he carries himself, he's got a way about him that I think is special and something I really admire, and I've really enjoyed spending time with him.
01:08As you and the Giants move forward in the NFC East, this is a division where almost always a different team wins it.
01:15Almost every year or so, it must be about the Giants' turn, isn't it?
01:19Yeah, we're excited. There's a lot of work to do. We've got a few weeks here before training camp, so a lot of work to do getting ready for camp, and then we'll be at it, hitting it hard for training camp.
01:30The fact that the Cowboys are the defending champs, does that make them the team to beat, or does their talent base make them the team to beat?
01:37I don't know. I think it's about us. It's about us preparing to play our best ball. Every game is going to be competitive. You need tough games, and that's the way the NFL is. We'll look to be in a good spot.
01:51Are you coaching in the Super Bowl out here?
01:53I'm not. My team didn't make it. Last year, we won, but we didn't make the cut this year.
01:57Well, I appreciate you being here, and I appreciate your time.
01:59Yeah, absolutely.
