00:00 >> I mean, I think it's our test, it's November, a team is matured now some.
00:05 It's back into conference play, where your real measure is taken.
00:10 I think that's the biggest part of it, and it's been a unique start to the preparation.
00:17 My message to them in the morning will be exactly what you just said.
00:21 Let's see consistently what we do from period to period at practice.
00:26 And we're gonna blend some good versus good work.
00:30 We'll work against some show teams where we're getting the North Carolina looks.
00:35 But I don't wanna see a dip in our practice.
00:38 I wanna see from wire to wire what we're able to do.
00:42 Cuz tomorrow, being the fact that we didn't practice today is a huge day
00:48 to test where we are, and that maturity level is what it takes to be
00:52 a consistently good football team.
00:55 >> Well, when a quarterback, any quarterback goes to scramble,
00:59 you've got to stay in coverage.
01:01 You hear defensive coaches will say that all the time.
01:05 He's got a lot of savvy and poise.
01:08 He's had that when he was in high school, his whole career.
01:12 So he's a very accurate, dangerous passer.
01:15 So when a quarterback like that, and he's a good athlete, he can run, he's strong.
01:20 When a quarterback like that gets in space, you have to stay in coverage.
01:24 And what you're telling your team is you gotta rally.
01:28 You've gotta rally.
01:29 You gotta have every D lineman, anybody that's not in coverage,
01:33 try to close the gap as quickly as they can.
01:36 One of the other big parts of it is you always try to contain a guy within
01:41 a pocket, because it's much easier to defend them generally in that regard.
01:47 But he's a great player that makes a lot of great plays.
01:50 And so in everything he does, it's a challenge to try to minimize the damage.
