00:00 >> Well, I think it's obviously a significant election.
00:03 I hear, I don't get to watch the news, but I hear people talking about
00:08 the significance in whatever way they wanna view it.
00:12 And it certainly is one of the, if not the most talked about election ever.
00:16 My perspective on it is that we have a lot of young people that have voted for
00:22 the first time, that are paying attention to all of the issues that are associated
00:27 with 2020, I think it's a good thing we're not practicing today.
00:32 Even though they've all voted, they're all emotional.
00:35 They're all on edge.
00:39 I heard it called election day stress.
00:43 And so we've tried to help them manage and handle that.
00:47 And they're maturing with that as well, not just football.
00:51 But I'm glad they care.
00:53 And that's a big part of anything in any society is that people have to care
00:58 enough to get involved.
01:00 I just don't, I'm just trying to help.
01:02 We got 18, 19 year olds, 20 year olds,
01:06 trying to help them manage the day to day right now is a big part of our job.
01:11 Question and let me give you why I talked about showy, it's an interesting thing.
01:16 So if we had indeed taken our team to volunteer somewhere to help in some
01:23 way, in any organized manner of doing that,
01:27 this would not have been able to be our day off.
01:30 We wouldn't have been able to practice either Sunday or Monday.
01:34 So I think the intention was first of all, to get them to vote.
01:39 And then when I called up there and asked about it, they said, well,
01:42 this allows them to be involved.
01:44 And then they said, well, if you take them or it's organized,
01:47 then that won't be your day off.
01:49 Okay, thank you.
01:51 So I didn't push the issue.
01:53 I know that our players are keeping up.
01:57 They talk about it.
01:58 They're involved in it, as I mentioned.
02:02 So we're not gonna, we wouldn't organize anything for that reason.
02:08 But I'm sure there are a lot of them, this campus is involved,
02:12 that are involved with their friends or
02:13 different people doing different things today with this election day.
02:17 Thank you.
