00:00Well, you know, I don't think it's changed much, you know, I would say, you know, the
00:07biggest thing, and I was very fortunate, you know, the time I came in, you know, eight
00:12years ago now, as a special assistant, you know, Wojo is still here, you know, Capa became
00:18very close with and got to see and then obviously, Coach James, who I've known, you know, ever
00:23since I was a player, and just to see how those guys handle the recruiting process,
00:29both are great recruiters. And obviously, you know, all of us know, at the end of the
00:33day, guys are coming here to play for Coach K, that is why our guys come here. And that's
00:39a big deal. And so for us, you know, I think we have a very unique thing as a staff. We
00:45work as a team, you know, when one guy maybe is communicating more with the family with
00:50the player, but all of us are involved, all of us talk about every situation. And I think
00:55that makes for a lot of success, not to mention Coach K, and who he is and what he does and
01:01how creative recruit or recruiter he's proven to be. So it's fun. I've enjoyed it, you know,
01:08learned a lot from Kate, learned a lot from Wojo. And, you know, just working as a team,
01:15I would say the biggest thing we do really well at a high level here.
01:19Well, I could write a book on this one, you know, shorter, shorter practices now than
01:27when I was a player, not as much yelling at the players, you know, and no, I could I could
01:32go on and on. But in all seriousness, he, um, I give coach a lot of credit. You know,
01:37he's been, you know, coaching here for over 40 years. And, you know, I can only speak
01:42to what I saw firsthand as a player, even the style of play that we had, like I mentioned,
01:48the practices in all seriousness, the length of the practices, the kinds of things we're
01:54doing, and him adjusting to how players today need to be coached, which is different. And
02:01so even the recruiting process, you know, I coached K and I weren't texting when I was
02:08being recruited, maybe can't remember if I was getting a text from him or not, there's
02:12mainly on the phone. And so he's, even, you know, we're talking about our defense today
02:19in a staff meeting, and he's open and doing things he's never done before. And I don't
02:23know many Hall of Fame coaches, maybe the best coach ever, who's, you know, thinking
02:29about doing something he's never done before. I think that's a credit to coach and also
02:33why he's been so successful for all these years.
